______1st Person POV___________________
Ra's Al Ghul was a strong man; a talented one at that too. He was an intelligent man who could predict most outcomes of a situation. Ra's has lived a great life as well, and a long one. Taking on a few different personas in his lifespan, he has managed to keep hidden.
Given the power of the Lazura's Pit, he seemed invincible. Being able to come back whenever he wanted; dead or alive. It gave him that strength, and talent. His skill being something taught, but powers were of something given.
Of course, I was a descendant of this man though, and my memories seem to alter those sayings of his talent, skill, strength and intelligence. From all those restless nights of pure torture to the fake 'doctors appointments'. I honesty couldn't remember which memories were right and which weren't anymore.
My mind seemed to twist them together as I tried to remember each moment of my life. Most of my childhood memories were gone, or left with confusion. But over the past few months I've managed to regain a few events, which detailed my past.
"She's too young Talia, it'll damage her body more than help-"
The female said with fear lacing her voice. She seemed to stumble back as Talia interrupted her,
"Just do it! We have another twin if we need it!" She screamed and looked down at me.
I couldn't understand what she meant at the time. My mind thought of having a sibling, but that was crazy. I was an only child.
"Y-Yes ma'am!" I heard the woman whimper as she pulled out this long metal thing with a small tube attached to it. And next thing I know, I feel pain and see nothing.
There wasn't anything special to that memory. Just the first time I was experimented on. After that, it just got easier, until they wiped my memories clean, and gave me false ones.
"He wants me back," I said out loud, looking at the two boys in front of me.
"He found out that I'm still alive, and that Damian isn't the only twin. He knows I'm not protected by Wayne, so he thinks it's an easier shot. But how did he find out!?" I said as I paced around, gripping at my shining hair. I wanted to pull it out due to frustration, but I took a breath and pulled my arms away.
Glancing up at Liam my eyes dropped to sadness as I shook my head, "How did he find me?"
It took him a moment before he walked over to me, and took both of my hands. His eyes looked up at me as he gave me an assuring smile.
"I don't know, but I promise you, we'll protect you from him."
"He's Ra's Al Ghul..." I stated as a matter of fact.
"So what!? If Batman can beat him, then we can- well...not even us, you can beat him!" He took him hands away and shrugged, giving me a smirk.
Liam didn't care for Bruce that much. To be honest, he despised him. He always talked down about him, and made fun of him, as both Batman and Bruce. Every single chance he got, he talked down on him.
He didn't care for the other boys either, but he had more of a fire towards Bruce not the others. Though I am his blood daughter, Liam had a great respect towards me. He'd do nothing more to protect against anyone, but against Ra's Al Ghul? Not even I could defeat him, despite what Liam says.
"No. I need to find him. I want to know why he wants me now." I said as I shook my head.
"But (Y/N)-" Hayden tried to plead, but I held my hand up, cutting him off,
"I know...I'm his killing machine, but...Why now of all times? What is he planning?"
Just then, we all heard a loud explosion go off outside. Nothing near us, but it was startling enough that we all charged towards the window. Liam grabbed his uniform, throwing it on fast, so did I. Hayden had to use his spare uniform, since his was at his house, and there was no access.
"(Y/N), you stay behind. We can't risk Batman finding yo-"
"No. I don't care. I'm ready to go. Let's go now." I said with determination, as I climbed out the window, flying up to the roof.
Looking out onto the city that looked so peaceful before, my eyes widened in fear as I saw fire engulfing the tops of the roofs.
Without hesitation, I grabbed onto both boys as they climbed up to the roof, and flew off to the city. My new (f/c) goggles helping me from blocking out the wind from hitting my eyes. Honestly, I would be surprised if Bruce or the boys recognized me, since I look so different now.
My new suit being different shades of (f/c) all around, from the combat boots to the mask-like goggles. I had a looser suit than before, with my pants being a dark (gray/black) camo, with multiple pockets for my utilities. My top being a tighter, but protective fabric that could withstand knife cuts or absorb electric currents. This all topped with a bottom half ski mask that had personal designs decorating it.
"Holy sh*t-!!!" Hayden yelled out as we neared Gotham, getting closer to the fire.
I dropped both boys off onto a rooftop, and flew up a little more, observing the surrounding area, trying to search for Bruce. The bat signal was shining high in the clouds as the sounds of sirens were heard all around, but where was Bruce?
Shaking my head, I searched instead for the start or cause of the fire. Listening in, I could hear some commotion coming from my left, towards the river. Glancing towards the sound, I noticed that there was a Warehouse that had caught fire as well, along with some small explosions coming from it.
Floating down to Liam and Hayden, I pointed to the area of the Warehouse, and shook my head, "There seems to be something going on over there, so I'm going to investigate, you guys check the rest of the city,"
Without arguing, they nodded and grappled away.
I nodded to myself and cracked my fingers, knowing it's been a while since I've last fought. Sure, I've trained with Liam a lot, but it's been a while since I've fought others outside. So I flew down in, full force, and landed in the middle of the ongoing fight, landing on one knee and regaining my weight. My eyes gravitated up as I could see both sides of the fight stop and look over at me.
"Well sh*t...I don't have some cool opening line," I said as I looked at the sides.
On one side, there was Clayface, Killer Croc, Poison Ivy, and Harley. While on the other side there stood half of my family; Jason, Tim, and Dick.
I stared at Harley and Ivy as they both seemed to not realize it was me, along with the three boys."Who the hell are you?" Jason said as he glared at me, his fists raised up instead of guns.
I just smirked and rolled my eyes, looking at him through my covering goggles, "The name's Fireball, but you should know that already,"
I held a fist up as my energy seemed to glow bright.
I heard a few gasps escape the mouths of everyone, but I just kept my smirk held, as I depleted the energy heat. Looking at both sides, I could see Harley and Ivy smiling as they knew it was me now, while I said the boys look in shock.
Their eyes laid on my hand as I lowered it, and looked around, "Sooo...."
"Why are you here!?"
