__1st Person POV__
In a court of law, this wasn't ever my idea. I was forced into this.
"You know," I mumbled out, my mouth full of cookies as I had brought the dessert bag with Jason and I, "Bruce and them are so going to kill you,"
I could see Jason smirk as he looked out over the city. His helmet sat next to him along with his own personal brown bag with treats and desserts as well. He took a bite of a cupcake he pulled out, his eyes turning over to me as he chewed up his food. Giving me a shrug he spoke, "Not if anything happens, they won't."
He took another bite of his cupcake, finishing it completely he took the brown bag and crumbled it up. He looked over the edge of the building, his arm winding back as his eyes scanned across the world beneath us. I knew exactly what he was planning on doing, and as much as I wanted to stop him from littering, I went along with, curious as to what will happen. Watching in silence, I looked over the edge as well, my legs dangling off the side as I was perched up here.
The city below looked farther down than it was as the blinding lights shined across the streets of the city. The soft sound of sirens, cars and yells could be heard, as it was a daily noise of Gotham. The crime in the streets never ceasing to stop, even if the Bat and the Birds to stop them. People didn't seem to understand consiquences, which was a mistake on their part as Batman would swoop down and stop every plan they have, sending them off to either Arkham or Blackgate.
The night city always seemed more alive than it was during the day, as many criminals came out from hiding. It was kind of poetic in a way; The hidden ugly darkness within the outed beautiful light.
"You'll miss the trashcan down there," I said out loud, a blank look on my face as I took another bite of my cookie. My eyes stared up to Jason as he didn't seem to listen, his arm pushing forward as he tossed the brown bag into the wind, it's light weight being drifted away with the flow of the wind.
I laughed and watched as Jason's face looked disappointed from his sudden failure,
"I guess I'll have to get that," he said as he began to stand up, but I waved my hand at him, shaking my head. My mouth full of food as I let out a hum, gaining his attention.
His head twisted my way, his dark locks falling back from the sudden rush of the wind. He looked down in curiousity and confusion as I cleared my throat, quickly swallowing my food as I pointed my hand towards the brown bag. I let out forceful cough as I made a finger gun, shooting it towards the bag. As I shot at it, a beam of light ran out and hit the bag, causing it to slowly melt into dust in the wind. Smiling I saw Jason put hands on his hips as he turned my direction from looking at the bag,
"Nice," he stated nonchalantly, giving me a grin.
I nodded as I looked back out to the city, my mind falling into a sea of thoughts. I could see Jason, from the corner of my eye, sit down next to me. Glancing over I saw him facing out towards the city, his legs resting over the edge of the building, his arms tucked underneath him on his knees,
"It was tough without you, not going to lie," I could sense the underlining sadness within his voice as his eyes stayed peeled to the city. I let out a sigh, following his eyes,
"So I've been told,"
I could see him bow his head slightly as he bit his tongue before speaking, "Its the truth... Which is weird because if you would've told me I had a sister-"
