"Kion, how did your date with Vitani go?" Oscar asked.

"What? Yeah, it went fine, I guess."

"Are you sure? You didn't have that wound before you went out with her." Oscar pointed out.

Kion looked at the black wolf, his eyes were glowing red in the dark, it was almost like he were speaking to a demon, but Oscar were his best friend, or his new best friend, he was dead to his former friends, though he never really realized why they just started to hate him.

"I said I'm fine, let's just not talk about that." Kion said, annoyed.

"Ok, if you say so."

Some other wolves joined them.

"Kion, are you following us on a hunt this time, or are you completely useless?" One of the wolves teased.

"Shut the fuck up, Theo, leave him alone. " Oscar growled.

Theo gave Oscar a defiant look, but didn't say anything, it was obvious Oscar could put fear in anyone he wanted to, except the pack's leader.

"However, you're coming with us, Oscar, since our other hunter got sick you're gonna hunt." The other wolf said.

"Of course, see ya, bro." Oscar said and turned to Kion.

"ye, see ya, and you, if you see anyone of the guard or the royal family, kill 'em." Kion said.

"You got it, let's go, guys." Oscar said. The three wolves ran away.

Kion were standing in the same spot several minutes, thinking, what if his parents would love him? What if he never needed to join this wolf pack? It was nothing wrong with the pack, he loved every single one of the members, even Theo, though he were snappy all the time. Plus he was rather with them than against them, especially with the thought of Oscar, he was the kindest on the planet.

But he were also cold, sometimes he gave Kion the chills, but overall he were really nice, they were bro's, g's for life, something Kion felt that it actually were true compared to his former friends. Sure, Fuli were really nice and she always understood him, but she were on the other side, the wrong side, and that made him lose respect for her, she's as dead to him as the other Pride Landers. Kion was so up in his own thoughts that he didn't realize how late it was, there was a simple reason to why the pack always hunted during nighttime, the guard were asleep, wich ment no enemies. But Kion knew that it was only a matter of time before The Pridelanders got someone who could patrol during night, but untill then, night was the best time for hunting. Kion went back to their den, he was greeted by their leader.

"Kion, I am glad to see you, friend." The gray wolf said with his russian accent.

"Sup, Sergey?" Kion greeted back.

"Have you seen Theo? he need to help me with a thing." Sergey asked.

"He's out hunting, they'll probably return in a few hours." Kion said.

"Okay, but Kion, you look really tired, you better get some rest."

"That was the plan." Kion smirked, then he went to his spot in the den, he loved every single minute of being in this pack, he felt accepted, seen as a friend, how hard he even tried to be nice in The Pridelands, everyone except his guard hated him, and when he decided to leave to find a new life, then his guard began to hate him as well. Well, not everyone in the guard, Fuli still cared for him, or probably not anymore, nobody in The Pridelands knew that Kion were living so close, they all thought he had gone far away, he wondered if he would ever show them wrong or if he would just let them think that he was somewhere far, far away, that was the time he had to think before he drifted off to sleep.
