Chapter 94

Jay POV
We had just left the place where we bought the buliding at. Pops was driving Trey was up front and I was at the back with Qua.

"Now all y'all niggas need now is it remodeled " Pops said
"I'm working on that" I said
"I need to check on my girl though" I said pulling my phone out

I called Jada. Straight to voicemail.

"The fuck" I said

I called again and she answered on the last ring.

Hey" Jada said
"Wassup, why you ain't answer?" I asked
"Jay. We aren't together at the moment." Jada said
"Yeah but I'm checking on you. I can't do that now?" I asked
"You can. But you can't expect me to answer like we are together " Jada said
"You alright?" I asked
"Yeah I'm alright" Jada said
"Ight" I said hanging up
*End of call*

I know me and Jada aren't together, but a nigga couldn't check on her either?

"You good bro?" Qua asked
"Man nah Jada tripping " I said
"What happened now. I thought me and Kierra were toxic" Qua said
"Man we not together " I said
"What?" Trey. Qua and Pops said together
"No. We friends because I hurt her so much she don't want to be with me at the moment " I said
"Damn she friend zoned you" Qua said
"Man she still my girl. I don't care what she saying" I said
"You toxic nigga " Trey said
"Nah I just know what's mine" I said
"Toxic" Qua said
"Shut the fuck up" I said
"Where we going?" Pops asked
"It's that strip club over there by yo house pops" Qua said smirking
"Yall tryna roll down there?" Pops asked
"I'm cool with it. Hell I'm single" I said
"Hell yeah!" Qua said
"I guess man" Trey said
"Yall can't tell the girls about this" Pops said
"We won't" We said together

Shit something to ease my mind.

Jada POV
I was on my last client for the day. I was doing box braids which I hate doing but I was doing them for the money. I've been on her hair for about 4 hours straight but I was almost finished. After Kierra took the pregnancy test she told us not to tell the results to nobody. She's not even going to tell Qua until later on. She's our bestfriend so we gone keep this secret.

"I'm finished" I said giving my client the mirror
"Omg this looks good! Thank you" She said
"You welcome" I said
"How much do I owe you?" She asked
"$85" I said

She gave me $90 and I gave her change back and she left. I flipped down in my chair stretching my hands.

"Ugh I'm so tired" I said
"Me too girl. My feet are killing me" Kehlani said
"Um Kehlani can I leave?" A worker asked
"Yes you can. You on schedule for tomorrow?" Kehlani asked
"Yes ma'am " She said
"Okay see you then. Thank you for coming in today " Kehlani said
"Aww aren't you such a nice boss" I said
"Girl shut up"Kehlani said
"You feeling okay?" I asked Kierra
"Yeah I'm okay" Kierra said drinking a sprite
"You up to going out to eat?" I asked
"Sure" Kierra said
"I'm down." Kehlani said
"Let's clean this hair up and we out" I said

Me , Kehlani and Kierra cleaned our station up and straighten things out. I went to the back grabbed my coat and belongings and clocked out. I sat in my chair  waiting for Kehlani and Kierra.

  "Y'all ready?" I asked
"Yeah I'm 8 months pregnant and ready to get off my feet. When we get into the car I need to call Trey and let him know" Kehlani said
"Okay" I said getting up
"I'm so hungry. I want a baked potato " Kierra said
"They have that where we going " I said walking out the door
"Where we going?" Kehlani said locking the shop
"Applebee's " I said smiling
"Let me guess? Craving? " Kehlani asked
"Yes ma'am " I said getting in the car
"I'll meet you there" I said
"Okay" Kehlani said
"Alright" Kierra said

I rolled back up my window and cut some heat on. It was freezing outside. I can't believe it was only cold still. I pulled out of the parking lot and made my way to Applebee's. Kehlani and Kierra were behind me. I decided to call Jay even though he wasn't my boyfriend, I still wanted him to know where I was.

I called Jay. No answer.

"Um what the fuck?" I said
 

Jay always answers my phone call he never declines it. I called again.

No answer.

"What the fuck?" I said again

I decided to shake off Jay not answering my call. He was probably made because of the fact that i said that me and him not together which is true. So why was he mad? I told him I need time to work on myself. After about 15 mins, I pulled up to Applebee's. I found a parking spot and got out. Kehlani and Kierra parked 2 cars down beside me.
I met Kierra and Kehlani at the door.

"Is it just me or is Jay declining my calls" I said
"Qua isn't answering me either" Kierra said opening the door
"And Trey isn't answering me. Trey never did anything like this before " Kehlani said
"The fuck are they doing. Did they tell y'all what they were doing today?" I asked
"They went looking for a buliding for there knew job they want to do" Kehlani said
"How many?" The man asked
"3" I said
"Follow me" He said

We followed the man to the booth section and he placed our menus in front of us. I sat down on one side and Kehlani sat with Kierra.

"The waitress will be right with y'all with drinks" He said
"I'm calling Trey again. If he doesn't answer he's going to have hell of a night playing wit me. "Kehlani said
"Awl man" Kierra said
"Girl.." I said

Y'all know pregnant women don't play when you don't answer their calls
So y'all think Kierra pregnant or not?
