Chapter 9

Seven POV
Legend really pissed me off. I mean I know I'm not tripping. When we were in the living room he was acting like I was the bad guy. He wasn't stopping Qua and Trey when they were saying shit about me bringing Rico's brother to set them up. I don't have anybody's number. I don't even have Treys number and he owns me now. So why the fuck would I even think about set up when I have a baby on the way? And he thinks I'm going to forgive him that quick? yeah no. I had real feelings for Legend for real. Over the past 2 months he's been a really sweet person. But now I'm just starting to think this is all an act. He's going to have to do a lot to earn my trust. Because now it was ruined.

"I'm I wrong? I asked Kehlani
"No. Legend should have defended you. He should have said something when Qua and Trey were saying shit. So I understand where you coming from. " Kehlani said fixing plates
"I'm going to get on to Qua about his actions as soon as I get home. So don't stress about it. You pregnant. " Kierra said
"Yall don't have to fuss at them because of me it's okay" I said
"Girl, I'm definitely getting on to Trey" Kehlani said
"Get y'all ugly asses in here and eat" Kierra called to the boys

Kierra is really funny and don't take shit from nobody. I love her attitude. She's like another me. Kehlani is more like a sweet and innocent girl but she cook people. Jada is more like calm. Like she quiet and calm. And y'all know them calm people dangerous as hell. I feel like ima bond more with Kierra though. We act just alike. After Kierra called the boys in the kitchen to grab there plates. We grabbed ours and sat down on the couch.

"Now I love all of y'all , and y'all like family. But please don't waste shit on my couch" Kehlani said
"This cheap ass couch " Qua said
"Boy. You know my shit ain't cheap , don't play me" Kehlani said eating her cube steak
"Hop off my girl" Trey said

Everybody could tell the tension was real between me and legend. We haven't said a word to each other since we sat down.

"Yall good " Trey asked looking back at me and Legend
"I'm straight " Legend said drinking his juice
"Forever good" I said taking bites of my Mac and cheese
"Quit the cap. Y'all know damn well y'all ain't good. We friends talk about your feelings " Qua said
"I already told Seven my feelings. She ain't taking me serious nomo cause of what I did" Legend said

I chuckled.

"Come on sis get it off your chest. Stop acting like me" Kierra said
"Feelings? We talking about feelings. The feelings you have were different when you thought I set your friends up" I said
"I already told you I was sorry what did you not understand? " Legend said
"Sorry isn't going to cut it. " I said
"Then man i don't know what else you want me to say or do" Legend said getting up to throw his plate away
"Bae yall talk to Legend and we will talk to Seven " Kehlani said

Trey, Qua and Jay got up and walked towards the kitchen while Kierra, Kehlani and Jada talked to me.

"Girl what's up? It deeper than just what he said " Kehlani said
"You right it is. I just don't trust any man after I found out the shit about Rico. What if Legend has an ex wife and kid? What would I do then? I just don't want to feel played" I said
"Legend isn't married. I don't know about the kid part but I know he isn't married or haven't been married. " Kierra said
"You should talk to him alone though. Don't rush into things just because we told you to rush into things. " Jada said
"Yeah do it when you're ready" Kehlani said
"Yeah. I think I'm going to get ready to go. It's going on 9:00pm and I'm just ready to sleep this shit off. Can I have y'all's number? Seven asked
"Yeah" Kehlani said

Kehlani and the girls gave me their number. I walked to the kitchen and asked Legend was he ready to go.

"Um can you take me to your crib? I'm ready to go. " I said
"Yeah let's roll" Legend said

Legend and the boys did there little boy dap or whatever you want to call it. And I opened the door and we left. I walked a little in front on Legend so he wouldn't talk to me. Once we got into the elevators he stood on one side and I stood on the other side. Once we reached the lobby we walked to the car. Once we got into the car we hit the road.

"I'm sorry Seven" Legend said breaking the silence
"I heard you the first three times. We will talk about it later. I'm tired right now" I said looking out the window
"I want to be here for you and your baby" Legend said
"You can. I just need time to think about all this" I said
"Ima give you the time you need" Legend said
"Thank you for that" I said
"Ima do the best I can. Just know that" Legend said

I loved the way Legend was expressing his feelings towards me. It was cute. It almost made me want to give in. But I still kept my guard up. I just lost my babydaddy and I have a baby on the way. I really need to focus on myself. And plus Qua daughters birthday is tomorrow. So I need enough rest to prepare myself for. After about 30 mins we finally arrived back at Legends crib. I hopped out the car while Legend opened the door. I walked into the house and walked into my room. I locked the door and started taking off my clothes. After I took my clothes off I did my face mask and let that sit for about 2 mins. After I let that sit I took it off washed my face with warm water. I got into bed and fell asleep quick. I was tired after all the mess that went on today.

Legend likes seven. They got into there very first argument and they ain't a couple.
