Chapter 8

Jay POV
We had just confronted Seven. We just ain't like how Seven came right after Trey got the letter. It just didn't add up. When we confronted the girls they was mad at us. Like we thought they would be happy we doing this shit. It's what they wanted in the first place. This the first time Jada ever been mad at me. She never mad. Me her always have good Communication, paying attention to each other. We never had an argument. We was in the room watching tv. I was thirsty so I decided to go check on the girls. I heard laughing but they haven't came out the kitchen at all.

"Wassup" I said walking into the kitchen

They didn't say anything.

"So y'all still not speaking to us?" I asked pouring some juice in my cup

Still no comments.

"Wow." I said walking out and shaking my head.

I walked back into the living room with everybody talking and laughing. I sat down in the chair.

"What I miss?" I said
"Man we was talking about childhood memories " Trey said
"Oh damn I can't relate to none of that" I said
"Man you came around when we was teenagers so you still can" Qua said
"Man we 20 and 21 years old. We grown ass men" I said laughing
"Still" Trey said
"Man I can't relate to this either" Legend said shaking his head
"But nah what the wife was doing when you went in there" Trey asked
"Man they still ain't talking. Jada ain't never been mad at me bruh. Ion see how y'all do this bullshit " I said
"Oh nah this shit bout to be solved right now " Qua said getting up

We followed Qua into the kitchen. The girls stopped laughing and talking as soon as we walked in. I walked towards Jada and she gave me a death stare.

"Baby I'm sorry" I said

She didn't say anything.

"So you really not talking to me? You know we ain't never had an argument. I dont know how to deal with this shit" I said
"What us there to say Jay?" Jada finally said
"I said I was sorry. " I said 
"You shouldn't be saying you're sorry to me" Jada said
"Man no I'm no apologizing to her" I said
"Then we aren't talking until you apologize " Jada said
"Bae" I said wrapping my arms around her
"Move Jay" Jada said
"You really gone stay mad at me? " I asked
"Are you really not going to apologize to Seven?" Jada asked
"Bae why? " I said
"Because she deserves and apology. Y'all were being really disrespectful." Jada said
"Ight Ight Ight damn. Seven I'm sorry for being disrespectful and coming at you" I said
"It's fine" Seven said laughing
"See there's my baby. That's the sweet Jay I know" Jada said hugging me
"You lucky I love you girl" I said

Jada POV
Jay had finally apologized to seven. I feel like seven actually changed. She's a good person. I don't think she has the guts to do anything wrong because of what Kehlani would do to her. Just because Kehlani was cook with Seven. Didn't mean she wouldn't kill her if she did something stupid. I love Jay a lot. And the Jay I seen tonight was not the Jay I met at the club. He was never disrespectful a female like that.

"I love you pookie " I said looking at Jay
"I love you too babygirl" Jay said kissing my lips
"So you gone tell me what y'all cook? " Jay asked
"Cube steak , Baked Mac and cheese and green beans " I said
"When y'all gone be finished?" Jay asked kissing my neck
"When we finish. Now move in cooking " I said pushing him out the way
"Bet. Just bet" Jay said
"Bet on what?" I asked laughing
"Just bet" Jay said drinking his juice

I laughed

Legend POV
I walked up to Seven. She was doing the dishes. I guess the ones they were finished with and used.

"Can we talk?" I asked
"What is there to talk about?" Seven asked washing a bowl
"I want to apologize " I said

Seven chuckled

"I'm serious " I said
"You let Qua and Trey talk to me any kind of way. Over the past two months I was starting to actually like you. But you showed me in there that I didn't mean shit to you and you wouldn't care if I died" Seven said
"You have feelings for me? I asked surprised
"Had" Seven said

I didn't know Seven had feelings for me. I thought I was the only one having feelings for her.

"It don't have to be an had though. I got feelings for you too Seven" I said

Seven stopped what she was doing and looked at me.

"Why? You thought I sent somebody to kill everybody. When you know damn well I wouldn't think about hurting you or anybody else. I already hurt everybody in this house hold enough! " Seven said raising her voice
"Calm down " I said
"Calm down for what? " Seven asked
"Because I want to be with you Seven. I want to help you raise your child. " I said surprising her
"You want to be with me , but don't even believe anything I tell you" Seven said shaking her head
"I know. And I'm sorry for that . I'm sorry I hurt you. It won't happen again. I should've believed you in the first place"  I said
"I don't know now Legend. When we done eating I just want to go home" Seven said
"Okay. We can talk about it later" I said kissing her forehead
"Okay" Seven said

I walked out of the kitchen and back into the living room. I sat on the couch next to Jay.

"You and Seven good? " Jay asked
"Nah man. She think I'm going Against her " I said
"You kinda was bro. If you want Seven you shouldn't stopped us from doing what we do" Jay said
"Yeah you right man. Hopefully I gain her trust back at the party tomorrow.
"Let's hope for the best man" Jay said
