YOUR NAME

I sigh and move my fork over my food, not really wanting to eat right now. I'm not hungry, but everyone always tells me to eat. just let me do my own thing?

"Y/N," Aang starts, looking at me. I bite my lip as I look up, our eyes connecting. he smiles at me and then points at my plate. "you should eat at least something. We have Quidditch practice today."

I nod at his words. he's right, last time at practice I fell off my broom because I fainted of the lack of food in my body. Aang and Sokka had to bring me to the nursing room.

"you're right," I answer him, eating some of the food on my plate. it's a little cold right now. ugh, sometimes I wish I was in Gryffindor so I could heat up my food with fire bending. all we Hufflepuffs can do is blow some air.

no one likes Gryffindor, though. they have the worst people in their house. talk about Azula, Ty Lee, Mai, Zuko... I hate them.

I don't really hate Zuko, though. I think he's nice, deep inside. he's just so stuck up because his sister is born lucky, being an amazing fire bender at heart. she didn't even need the hat to tell her she was in Gryffindor, she could fire bend at the age of two. ee start our journey in Hogwarts at the age of 7, so she was pretty lucky to bend at such a young age. we discover if we're even benders at all through the sorting hat.

the firelord, Ozai, also known as Zuko and Azula's dad, was devastated when he learned that his firstborn could be a non-bender. luckily for Zuko, the hat told him he was a true fire bender as well. he just had a lot to learn and only started fire bending at 7, just like every normal kid.

being a royal isn't really the easiest thing in our world.

our school works in mysterious ways. when the school first started, only benders of the four nations could start at Hogwarts. it's completely different now, thanks to the Avatar.

there are four houses in Hogwarts that lead to the four elements. Water; also known as Ravenclaw, Earth; Slytherin, Fire; Gryffindor and Air; Hufflepuf.

only benders were allowed at Hogwarts at the start of our school. they would learn how to fight and how to become masters in their own element. but sooner or later, also other fighters could come in Hogwarts and work on their abilities.

take the Kyoshi warriors, they are earth kingdom citizens and they can't bend. but they're really good at fighting, and knowing that Kyoshi (an earth kingdom Avatar) was an earth bender at heart, they were allowed in Slytherin because their fighting is really good.

Mai and Ty Lee, also known as non-benders, are in Gryffindor. Mai is a really good fighter as well, even though I hate to admit it... Ty Lee has something special I still call cheating.

once in a few years, there is an Avatar in our school. we're all waiting for the day we hear that one of our Hufflepuff friends will be announced as the Avatar.

the Avatar is someone special. the Avatar is the bridge between our world at the spirit world, and their duty is to bring balance into the world. there's this circle, meaning every time the Avatar dies, it gets born into another nation in the circle. the Avatar is always a bender, meaning they're always attending Hogwarts years later.

we don't know who the Avatar is until we're 16. it can be everyone, really. every year on Christmas, we'll know who the Avatar is. me and my brother Aang turned 16 this year, just like many other students in our house. it can be anyone of our nation.

all we know for sure is that it's a Hufflepuf this year. the Avatar circle works the same, always. last year it was Roku, from Gryffindor. he was a fire bender, but he had the ability to learn every other element in the circle, meaning he could actually belong in all houses.
