Two weeks into school and it's safe to say that /name/ has been doing good. Not exceptionally great, but definitely not bad. The thing is, she hasn't made any friends in those two weeks. Well, apart from one.
"/last-name/!" A girl with petite and frail figure was seen running towards the name's owner, heavily breathing against the short and blonde strands of hair sticking onto her face.
"Why? Is anything wrong, Yachi?" The opposite girl responsed.
They both met when the two of them were left alone in the classroom during lunch. And Yachi being the nice girl she is, was one of the very few people who mustered up their courage to go talk to /name/.
A ringing sound fills the entire volume of Karasuno Highschool, alerting the students, teachers, and other personnels about the lunch break.
At almost the exact same time, teachers in each class walked out of their respective rooms, followed by the famished students, ready to gobble up anything, either from their lunch boxes or the cafeteria.
As for one specific place, two people were left because of two different reasons. One for forgetting her lunch, and the other for refusing to socialize with co-students.
But despite the two having dissimilar cases, the fact that they're alone in the room, brought them together.
"Hi, you're /last-name/ /first-name/, right? Nice to meet you." Finally deciding to break through the silence, the blonde one stands from her seat and approached the other.
"Yes." /name/ answers bluntly, her voice as flat as a paper. I mean, what else was she supposed to say?
"I'm Yachi Hitoka, if you didn't know. By the way, do you always eat here by yourself?" She introduces herself as she sits in front of /name/'s seat, facing her.
"Yes." And yet another dull response was given to the blonde.
"But you don't. What are you doing here?" /name/ decides to speak again, but it only came out more rude than she would've wanted.
"I actually uhh forgot my lunch and my pocket money at home so, I don't have anything to do."
After contemplating on what to say, /name/ finally found the right words to say and actions to do. She rummages through her bag, grabbing something and taking something from its inside.
"Here, take this. Go get your lunch." She hands the money to the blonde who was astonished.
"No, no you don't have to. I'm perfectly fine."
"It's alright, just take it. Go on." She kees persuading the other until she gives in.
"Okay, thank you so much for this. I'll surely pay you back tomorrow."
"No need to."
"But I will. Thank you again so much. See you later." After /name/'s longest interaction so far, they wave goodbye to each other before the other one walks out.
Well, that was how they met.
"My favorite food is in today's menu! Wanna grab it with me?" Yachi exclaimed with sparks in her eyes.
"I have my lunch with me, Yachi. I don't see any reason to come along with you so I'll just eat here. You should probably go there before it runs out. It's fine with me."
