Day 3
The birds chirp as the sun rises and shines through the windows of million of houses. And because of this, Kei was forced to open his eyes when the sunlight shined upon his room.
With his blurry sight, he looked at the girl whose face was still buried in his chest and arms around his body. He chuckled and gently carresed Y/n's hair.
"Oi. Wake up." Kei said with his husky morning voice.
"Oi." the boy repeated.
All he got as a response from the girl was a light groan. Y/n buried her face even deeper in the boy's chest and hugged him even tighter, not planning to wake up anytime soon.
"Five more minutes." she whispered.
"Fine, but I can't breathe." Kei said.
The girl loosened the hug and finally faced the boy. He stared at the boy who had no glasses with her half lidded eyes. A small smile formed to her lips.
"You look good without glasses." she straightforwardly said.
Kei was flustered and got off from the girl's arms.
"Tch. Get up already." he said.
The girl got up as she stretches her arms and rub her eyes.
Kei first entered the bathroom to wash his face and brush his teeth. Right after he went out, Y/n got in to do the same.
"Were you waiting for me?" the girl asked as soon as she stepped out of the bathroom and saw the blonde outside.
"You might get lost, you know. " Kei remarked.
They both headed downstairs to eat. There they saw Kiiro still peacefully sleeping on his bed and a note on the dining table.
'Kei, something came up at work. I told your brother to get groceries though he said he'll be back by lunch time because he has to do something. Please take care of F/n-chan and Kiiro. And F/n-chan, please also take care of my youngest. Love you both.'
Mom
The two read the letter and prepared their breakfast, pancakes. The batter was already made and they just have to cook it.
"I'll do it." Y/n volunteered and wore an apron to cook the pancakes.
Kei sat by the dining table, stealing glances from the girl. One time, he stared too much at her and was reminded of the first time Y/n cooked for him.
"This is the second time, right?" the girl asked out of the blue.
"Second time for what?" Kei said as he got back to his senses.
"I'm cooking for you. The first time's the strawberry shortcake at my house, remember?"
"Yeah, I remember."
"Want me to make it again later foer dessert after dinner before I leave?" Y/n asked.
"Sure, it's up to you."
After cooking all the pancakes, Y/n equally divided the pieces to two and put them on plates. She served the other one to the blonde in front of her and they sprinkled maple syrup all over their breakfast.
