It has been quite a while since /name/ and Yachi has joined the club. Yes, they both decided to stay because they have grown close to the boys. Besides, they're absolutely hooked onto the sport.
"So, /last-name/, Yachi, what do you say? Would you two like to be a part of our club?" It was after a week of the introduction when Kiyoko asked the two for their decisions.
Yachi looks over to /name/, asking for her permission through a simple eye contact. In return, the girl gives her a nod, stating a yes.
"Kiyoko-san, /name/ and I decided to stay in the men's volleyball club. We're looking forward to working with you all." The blonde answered.
"Really? That's great news, I'll assure you'll never regret your choice. Thank you so much, both of you."
"It's our honor to be a part of your club. I hope the boys don't mind."
"Oh no worries, I'm sure they will be just as delighted as I am when they hear about this news. I will inform them later. Thank you again, I appreciate it very much."
"No problem, Kiyoko-san. See you later."
"Is everyone here and ready? We should leave by now so we won't be late. Please make sure nothing and no one is forgotten." Takeda stands beside the door to the bus, mentally head-counting everyone in his team.
"Yes!" Everyone semi-yelled out before going into the bus.
Today is officially the first day of Interhigh Tournament. It is a sport event, where volleyball teams from different schools compete for the first place. For quite a long time Karasuno's team has been practicing each and every day to prepare for the event.
And to their pleasure, they have improved a ton since their last matches against Nekoma and Aoba Johsai where they lost and won respectively.
Riding on the bus, /name/ sits in the seat by the window with her bag beside her, Kiyoko and Yachi in front of her, and Tsukishima and Yamaguchi across her seat.
Given that it was an exceptionally early morning, most of the people in the bus are swimming in their dreams, sucked deeply into their sleep.
/name/ however, pulled out her earphones from her bag. And with a single tap on her playlist, a random song plays through her ears. Along with the song, she hums as quiet as she can to avoid waking up any of the members. Feeling the music flow through her whole body, /name/ closes her eyes and at the same time, starts to bob her head and lightly tap her feet on beat.
If some people's way to create their own world or escape their reality is through writing, listening to music is /name/'s way of doing it. She thinks music is a secret language who is capable to be understood without the use of words. You could play an instrumental or something and it could be expressing what most of us feel.
Music is such an exquisite way to know what or how a person feels. It has the ability to dig through your deepest and darkest chambers that you didn't even know you had. It opens our eyes to something we've always pretended to be blind about.
