Normal POV:

Tears streamed down your face as you and Ethan pulled up to the scene of the accident. Ethan had just gotten a call from your boyfriend, Grayson, saying that he had just found himself in a bike accident.

The moment you saw Grayson being transferred to the ambulance on the stretcher, your heart dropped. You ran out of the car, sprinting toward him despite the protests of the other nurses and police.

Once you made it to the stretcher, you gasped, your eyes glossy. "Grayson," you whispered.

"Ma'am, I'm going to need you to step back," an officer tried to tell you.

"I'm his girlfriend!" you snapped back. Just then, Grayson's eyes fluttered open, taking in the sight of you standing there. "(Y/N)?" he said, his voice raspy.

"Grayson. Oh my gosh," you exclaimed, leaning down to hug him tightly. "Are you OK? W-What happened?" Your eyes poured into his extraordinary hazel ones.

"Yeah. He just came out of no where," he stated. Before you could reply, he was taken into the ambulance and you were allowed to sit next to him and give him company. After confronting his brother, Ethan sat in front, giving you two some privacy.

You took Grayson's hand in your petite one, rubbing your thumb against the back of it. Your cries died down to sniffles as you stared at the floor, your heart racing.

"Hey, look at me," Grayson said, noting how tense you were. He brought the hand you were fiddling with to lift your chin up. You saw that he was sitting on the stretcher now. "I'm fine, baby."

"You're clearly not, Grayson," you protested. "You're on a stretcher."

"I didn't need one, trust me. But they insisted I get on," he explained. "I'm perfectly fine."

He guessed by the look on your face that you were not convinced. "Come here, Angel," the brunet said, patting his thigh. You snuggled up into him, situating yourself on it. Your arms wrapped around his neck, your face buried in the crook of his neck.

He held you close to him, his arms sitting around you securely. You felt his lips press a firm kiss against your forehead. "I can't imagine a world without you, Gray," you said softly.

His arms tightened around you. "Then don't." He tucked a loose strand of hair behind your ear, holding your chin with the same hand and making you lock eyes with him. "I swear I'll always be here with you. You don't have to worry about that."

You planted a light kiss on his neck, before cuddling into him through the rest of the ride.

Once you reached the hospital, Grayson was immediately wheeled into a room and you and Ethan had to wait outside while they ran some tests on him to make sure there was nothing wrong.

Ethan kept assuring you that his brother was going to be alright. He had been in multiple accidents before and broke a lot of bones, but he was always alright. You knew nothing would be terribly bad, but that lingering feeling in the back of your head kept saying otherwise.

As soon as a nurse came by to let you in, you dashed into the room and stood next to the bed Grayson was put in. Ethan followed you inside and the two of you were met with a kind of dazed, otherwise normal looking Grayson.

"Gray," you said. "How are you feeling?"

Grayson looked at you with a bored expression. "Like I just cheated death."

"What did they say?" Ethan questioned his brother. "You can go home, right?"

"Yeah. They said nothing was wrong and everything seemed pretty good, so I can leave in a bit," Grayson explained.

You breathed a deep sigh of relief. "Oh, thank gosh. That's great to hear." Your boyfriend grinned at you, his pearly teeth shimmering. You gave him a half smile, still recovering from the state of shock you had upon hearing the news when Grayson called up Ethan.

"That was a near death experience, bro," Ethan stated. He was pretty worried but he tried not to show it much.

"It wasn't that big of a deal," Grayson said, shrugging it off like it was nothing.

"Grayson, you could have died!" you stated.

"But I didn't. I lived...again."

You shook your head, pecking his lips lovingly. "You really are an Angel, Grayson Dolan."
