Okay but like can we just talk about how FIIIIIIIINE AF Gray looks like the picture above?

(Y/N)'s POV:

"Momma! Momma!" I hear the loud wails of my four-year-old. Next minute she comes running into the drawing room, tears streaming down her cheeks.

She jumps right into my open arms, and I lift her up as she sobs on my shoulder. "Baby? What happened? Are you okay? What's wrong?" I frantically ask.

She hugs my neck, hiding her face in the crook of it. Cassidy begins hiccoughing, and I rub her back in a way to soothe her. "Shh, baby," I coo, wondering where the heck my husband is.

He was supposed to be with her while they were building together outside. "H-He hit m-me," she manages to get out through her cries. My eyes widen, my lips pursing together into a thin line. "Who hit you, sweetie?"

"D-D-Daddy."

What the f*ck?

Immediately, I call out to him. "Grayson Bailey Dolan, get in here right now!"

A few moments later, the man finally walks in, his hair a mess, probably from running his hands through it. He swallows hard when he nears me.

"Explain," I demand, glaring at him as our daughter's cries finally start to die down.

"B-Babe, it was a accident. Honest. I would never hurt her, you know that," he defends himself. He tries to reach for Cassy, but I pull away. "Cassy, pumpkin. You know daddy would never really hurt you."

"D-Daddy hit me! Meanie, daddy!" the little girl exclaims from my arms, refusing to look at her dad.

Grayson sighs, running a hand through his already messy hair in frustration. "Please," he simply begs, looking directly into my eyes. My expression softens, knowing that he really would never purposely hit Cassy.

I turn to her, hearing her slight sniffles. "Cassy, sweetheart. Daddy made a mistake. You can forgive him, yeah?" I tell her.

But she rapidly shakes her head, and I see Grayson's face fall, heartbroken that his little Princess won't forgive her dad.

"Cassy, now that's not nice," I say, but she doesn't let me finish. "Daddy a monster!" Upon hearing these words leave her mouth, I gasp in disbelief.

I can only imagine how brutal it must be for Gray to hear her say this. "Cassidy Dolan! Now that's mean," I tell her, but she simply huffs, now refusing to look at me too.

I lock eyes with my husband, seeing his deep hazel eyes glossy. My lips pull into a frown, giving him a sympathetic look. I carry Cassy to her room, plopping her down on her Princess bed that Gray made for her last Christmas.

Kneeling before her, I say, "Now, Cassy. You know daddy loves you, yeah?" She hesitates but then nods. "And he would never want to hurt you." She nods again. "See? It was an accident. Everybody has accidents. Daddy didn't mean to hit you."

She twitches her little nose, quietly listening to me. "Where did it hurt?" I ask, looking into her hazel eyes, almost identical to Grayson's.

She points a finger to her chest, and I place my palm against it. "It's okay, baby. It was just an accident. Now you will forgive daddy, won't you?"

She nods slowly, before I kiss her forehead. "And besides, you're a strong little girl, aren't you?" I ask, enveloping her little hands in mine. "A little hit doesn't bother this warrior princess."

"Nope! Imma big girl!" Cassy squeals, and I laugh. I boop her nose with mine, making her giggle. "Exactly."

I exit the room feeling good about myself. But then see the sight of my husband still moping in the drawing room. "Grayson," I say, catching his attention.

"How is she?" is the first thing he asks, his eyes slightly red and puffy.

"She's good. Great, actually," I assure him, making my way towards him. I put a hand on his shoulder. "You should go talk to her."

"She f*cking hates me, (Y/N)!" the brunet exclaims. "She...She thinks I'm a monster."

Aww. Poor baby. I hate to see him like this.

"Babe, you know she didn't mean that. She's four, for goodness sake," I tell him, now standing in front of him with my arms around his torso. "She still loves you."

"She does?" He towers over me, looking down into my eyes.

"Of course she does. She might be a little upset, but she still loves you," I explain. The tall boy sighs, nodding.

"Right," he simply says, planting a chaste kiss on my lips, before rushing over to our little girl's room.

Grayson's POV:

I stand at Cassy's door, decorated with posters of unicorns and pictures from our family trips together with Ethan. I take a deep breath before knocking on the wooden door.

"Cassy? Can daddy come in, please?" I ask through the door.

I hear shuffling from within before a small voice says, "Daddy? What'chu won' say?"

"Daddy wants to say... I'm sorry, Pumpkin. I never wanted you to get hurt. Please let daddy inside so I can hug you?"

There is a moment of silence. "Daddy wants hug?" she asks from behind the door.

"Yes, yes, Princess. Please let me in," I plead.

To my relief, I hear footsteps walk towards the door, before the lock clicks. I hear the steps going away from the door, and I waste no time in opening it.

"Cassy. I'm sorry, Princess," I say softly. She plays with her fingers in her lap for a bit, before hopping off her bed. Standing before me, she says something that makes my heart swell with pure happiness.

"Hug, daddy?"

I scoop her up into my arms, twirling her around in the air a bit, making her laugh and squeal. I wrap my arms around her little body, holding her up as she hugs my neck.

From the corner of my eye, I see my beautiful wife lean against the door frame, sighing in awe at the heart-warming sight before her.
