(Y/N)'s POV:

This is probably the most excited yet nervous we've ever been. And by we, I mean Ethan, Grayson and I. So recently, a drama movie company called us up and asked if we were interested in taking part in one of their upcoming films.

Ecstatic, all three of us accepted and were soon given our scripts. They said we would obviously have an audition and if we meet their expectations, we'll be receiving a call back.

They needed a Scarlett, Jackson and Elijah.

As we were reading through our scripts, we quickly learned that Jackson was a player, one that Scarlett was in love with. Elijah was Scarlett's best friend and was also secretly crushing on her.

And right off the bat, we knew that there was going to be a lot of drama and hence it made it more of a challenge for us.

The three of us are currently getting ready to act it out for the very first time and also deciding on the best way to get into character.

"Jackson-Jackson's such a douche, man," Grayson comments.

"Perfect. 'Cause you'll be the one playing him, Gray," Ethan says, clapping a hand on his brother's back. Grayson deadpans him, making Ethan smirk victoriously.

"C'mon guys. It's just an act," I state. "Let's try to make look as believable as possible."

The boys nod, agreeing. "Alright. So who's playing who?"

"You know I think I'd make a pretty good Scarlett," Ethan says, pulling an amusing pouty face. Grayson and I laugh before exchanging glances.

You see, I've been dating Grayson for the past two years. I can never forget the day he ran into me as he lost control of his skateboard. He crashed into me and knocked me onto the ground, resulting in him falling above me.

Yep. And that's how I met my wonderful boyfriend.

"Guys, you need to stop eye-fucking when I'm around." Ethan rolls his eyes in disgust as Grayson and I simultaneously blush pink.

I clear my throat. "So, now that we've skimmed over the script, you two need to decide who's gonna play Jackson and Elijah."

"I'll play Jackson," Grayson declares, making Ethan mutter a "obviously" under his breath.

"OK. We need to get into our characters," I say. "How do we do that?"

"I think his calls for a little dress-up time," Ethan says. "(Y/N), you're up first."

I lead the boys to the room I share with Gray, walking to my side of the closet. "Hmm. What screams 'Scarlett'?"

After digging through my heaps of clothes, Grayson picks out a cute floral top while E picks a pair of skinny jeans to go with it. Once the boys pick out their outfits (Ethan-a light over-sized hoodie and Grayson-a black leather jacket and black tank top), we begin acting out the whole script for the first time.

Apart from the fit of giggles here and there, we do pretty well for our first try. That is, until we reach a particular scene with Scarlett and Jackson. It's a sad and quite dramatic scene of the script, and I need to bring out the water works for this one.

I put on my best sad face, my wide glossy eyes looking up at my real boyfriend. "Jackson, please. Please don't leave. W-We can work something out, just please. Jackson-"

Grayson suddenly crashes his lips against mine, cutting my sentence off. His soft lips move against mine before I pull away, trying not to break into a smile.

"Baby, you need to stick to the script," I say, biting back a grin as a blush creeps onto my cheeks.

"OK, OK. Let's go again," Grayson says getting back into character. Or so I thought, because the very next time I repeat my lines, my boyfriend's lips find mine once again.

"Gray, man. Come on!" Ethan exclaims. "We'll never this done if you keep going off-script."

"But I can't help it, dude! I can't have my girl plead like that," he retorts.

I smile, placing a warm hand on his cheek. "Gray, it's just an act. You don't need to feel bad."

His large hand comes to rest above mine, keeping my hand on his cheek. "I know, I know. But I just don't like seeing you cry like that."

"Grayson. I love you," I tell my boy. "Now if that isn't enough to reassure you, I don't know what is."

He exhales. "You're right. Let's try this again."

A few more tries later, and we were ready and confident as ever for our audition. The day of the audition finally arrives, and despite the ball of anxiousness in everyone's stomachs, we give our best performance.

And in the end, we're promised a call back.
