Soooo Valentine's Day is almost here!

Who's gonna sit alone eating ice cream and watching rom-coms all day? Meeee.

(Y/N)'s POV:

My eyes scanned all round the room full of people and couples in search of my best friend of three years. "Hey, Ethan," I say over the music playing through the room. "Do you know where Grayson is?"

Ethan shakes his head. "Beats me. He was with me just a few minutes ago, before he ran off somewhere. But I'm sure he'll be here any minute."

I nod, pouring myself a cup of fruit punch labeled as The Love Potion. We are currently at the Dolan household, where Ethan and Grayson are holding a party in honour of Valentine's Day.

In all honesty, I wouldn't have agreed to come here had it not been for Grayson pleading and begging me to be there for like, two weeks straight. You can only say no to those adorable puppy dog eyes for so long.

Also, the fact that I've had a massive crush on Gray from the moment we became besties also lured me in to accepting the invite.

I sip on my cup, looking round to see friends and lovers, everyone having a great time. So consumed in my own thoughts, I don't notice when someone walks up behind me.

"Hey, (Y/N)," Grayson says, slightly out of breath. I whip around to see the face of an Angel grinning down at me.

"Oh, hey, you," I greet him, smiling. "Where have you been?"

He scratches the back of his neck, awkwardly. "Oh, you know. Just had to get something."

"Oh, OK," I chirp out cheerfully, turning back around and sipping on my punch.

I hear Grayson sigh behind me before I feel a hand enclose around my arm. "(Y/N), I-I wanna ask you something." He coughs, clearly nervous.

Turning to lock my gaze with his hazel eyes, I hum in response as I continue drinking out of the cup, waiting for him to continue.

That's when I notice him bring something to view from behind his back. It looks like...a card?

A pink, white and red card in the shape of a heart. My own heart nearly stops as I stare at the parchment before me. "(Y-Y/N), will you-uh-"

"Give this to someone?" I ask, my mind refusing to believe anything else.

"Wha-no, no. I was gonna say..." he hands me the card. "Will you be my Valentine?"

I kid you not when I say I almost choked on my drink. It nearly came bursting out my nose, making me cough aggressively.

Grayson's hands immediately went to my shoulders. "Hey, hey. Are you OK? Easy now."

Turning rosy-cheeked from embarassment, I place the cup on a table, regaining my posture. "Y-You want me to be your V-Valentine?" Perfect. Great. Did not stutter at all.

Grayson stuffs his hands in his deep pockets, looking away then looking back at me. "Y-Yeah. I-If you want to, of course."

I can't believe it. Is this actually happening? Does he really like me back? OK, don't freak out. Breath. Don't hyperventilate. Breath b*tch.

"Y-Yes, Gray. I'd love to," I reply, making his eyes light up. He steps closer to me, his breath fanning my cheeks. His hand comes up to tuck a stray piece of hair behind my ear, before he gently cups my cheek with it.

He has got me paralyzed. I can't move. I can't flick my gaze away. I can barely breath right. He's got me locked under his beautiful orbs.

"This might be pushing my luck but...will you be my girlfriend too?" I hold my breath, not blinking. "(Y/N)?"

Finally, I squeak out, "Y-You like me too? I-I didn't think y-you did."

Grayson looks at me like I just confessed I like eating my ice cream with ketchup. Then, he chuckles, amused. "You're kidding, right?"

I simply stare at him. He raises his perfect brows up. "You're telling me you've never even once noticed me staring at you like a love-sick puppy?"

I cough, awkwardly, swiping my tongue above my dry lips. Grayson laughs softly, running his thumb over my bottom lip. At that moment, all other sounds around us are blurred and it's just him and I, staring longingly into each other's eyes.

"I've liked you for...well forever now," he admits. My eyes flutter all over his beautiful face, taking in every detail that I love about him. "Can I kiss you?" he asks, his voice low.

I nod as his eyes flick between my lips and my (E/N) orbs. Grayson leans in and I connect my lips with his plump, pink ones. His hands hold my face as mine rest over his hard chest, our lips moving together slow.

He tilts his head to the side slightly, while my fingers tug at the chocolatey hair on the nape of his neck. His lips devour mine, kissing me slow at first, then roughly before switching back.

I pull away, breathless, mind turned to goop and my knees jello. "So what do you say, (Y/N)? Be my girl?" he questions.

I giggle, my cheeks now flushed crimson. "Yes, Gray. Always." He grins ever so adorably, brushing his nose against mine.

Best. Valentine's Day. Ever.

God I wish Gray was my Valentine...
