(Y/N)'s POV:

"Grayson, babe! It's almost time. You ready yet?" I call out, finishing up the vegan sandwitch for my husband of five years.

"I'm ready, I'm ready," he says, stepping into the kitchen to present himself to me in his simple black shirt and jeans. "How do I look?"

Letting my eyes wander all over my husband's toned body, I smirk. "As good as ever." He grins, turning a light shade of rose. "Where's Andolina?"

"She's watching Spongebob in the drawing room," I state. "Here's your sandwitch."

Grayson pecks my lips before gratefully munching on his sandwitch. I walk over to our four-year-old daughter, who is laser focused on the bright screen ahead. "Lina, daddy's gonna come to kindergarten with you today. Are you excited?"

She looks up at me through her pretty brown lashes, nodding her little head, before going back to her cartoons. Grayson comes up behind me, taking hold of my waist. "Daddy is nervous," he says, resting his chin on my shoulder as his strong arms wrap around my torso.

"You'll do great, babe. Don't sweat it," I reassure him, caressing his cheek with my hand.

Today just so happens to be Father-Daughter Day at my little girl's kindergarten, which means that all the kids have to bring their dads to kindergarten with them. Grayson, being the brilliant father he is, obviously agreed to go. Though, he is seemingly nervous.

Obviously, he has never done something like this before. But I assured him he would do great. "Alright, you two," I clap my hands together. "Time to go. You don't wanna be late."

Grayson moves away from me, crouching down before his daughter. He looks into her big, doe eyes, shining hazel just like his. "You ready to go, Doll?"

She nods, excited, now completely forgetting the animated characters on the screen. Andolina leaps into her dad's arms, wrapping her small arms around his neck as he lifts her off the ground, holding her up. I see my husband and daughter to the door.

After kissing Andy's chubby cheek and placing a loving kiss on Grayson's lips, I watch them head into Gray's truck, him helping her get in and strapping her to the seat. And then, they're off.

Grayson's POV:

Watching Andolina draw hearts on the piece of red paper, I realize that maybe I really don't have anything to worry about. This is a piece of cake.

I shift in the tiny chair at Andy's table, feeling slightly uncomfortable considering it's a kids chair and I'm way too big for it. I can't help but fear it may just break any minute.

"Daddy, look!" my darling little girl squeals excitedly, thrusting the finished drawing in my face. "Isn't it pretty?"

I look at her messy heart doodle, sprinkled with layers upon layers of colourful glitter. It looks like a Unicorn threw up on it. And I love it.

"Hey, that looks really good, Princess," I compliment her magnifique art skills. Just like her momma.

She grins, her front two teeth MIA but looking adorable still. "And now more glitter!" she exclaims.

"Sweetheart, isn't there already enough glitter?"

At this, she looks me dead in the eye. "Daddy. You can never have enough glitter."

I laugh. "Who told you that, Doll?"

"Mo-Momma told me," she replies, going back to sprinkling more rainbow glitter on her read heart.

"Momma told you that?" I laugh under my breath, shaking my head. Of course (Y/N) would have said that. She's really taught our girl some valuable things to remember.

Normal POV:

"Momma, momma! We're back!" the sound of your daughter's voice can be heard through the house.

You were sitting on the couch when they returned home from kindergarten. You look up from your book to see Andolina racing towards you, jumping onto the couch and instantly cuddling into you.

"Hey, you two," you greet them, looking at Grayson pull out a chair to sit on the wrong way round, propping his arms over the back of the chair. "How was it?"

"It was awesome!" Andy chirps happily, making Grayson chuckle.

You look at your husband's amused expression. "Is that so?" you smile, your eyes filled with love for the both of them. "Well what did you do?"

"Miss Poppy made us draw cards and-and then we-we painted them and we had to write names of who we love in them," she explains the best she can. "And-And I wrote daddy and uncle E in mine and daddy wrote you, momma."

"Did he now?" you raise a brow at Grayson, who simply winks at you. Your daughter hums, leaning back into you. In a matter of mere moments, soft snores signify that she's already sound asleep. You shift your attention to Grayson to see him watching you in awe.

"So I'm asuming it was a success?" you speak.

Grayson sighs. "Yeah, for the most part. I mean besides the fact that I some how managed to get a huge ass paper cut—"

"Grayson Bailey, language!" you whisper-yell. "Our daughter is still here."

"Oh. Sorry, baby," he says. "I mean I got a huge paper cut. But besides that, everything went great, just like you said so."

You smile. "See? I told you you had nothing to worry about."

"Yeah. Now could you put Doll to bed so I can cuddle with my beautiful wife?"

You snort softly. "Beautiful? Grayson, I have a messy sock bun. In what world is that beautiful?"

"In my world it is," he replies, making you mumble the word cheeseball under your breath.

"Hey, I heard that," Gray says. "If it weren't for Andolina being here, I would've already tackled you to the couch."

Your lips curl up in a smirk. "Alright, daddy dearest," you say. "I'm gonna put Lina to bed now. I'll deal with you later."

You stand up, carrying your child in your arms, her cheek squished against your shoulder. As you make your way past Grayson, you feel a hand land swiftly on your butt. You gasp. "Grayson Bailey Dolan! Behave yourself."

Grayson snickers as you continue on your way to your little girl's room. After finally tucking her into bed, you enter the room you share with your husband, only to see him sprawled on the bed in nothing but a pair of Calvin's.
