Daniel's POV:

I walked out of the hotel shower and almost start to change before I hear loud knocks at my door.

Earlier after Riv dropped me here, I had texted Tom about what Riley and I did yesterday. I don't regret doing so because he deserves it. In some way, this is like punishing both Riley and Tom, so it's definitely a win for me.

Riley's relationship gets broken while Tom's heart gets to be the broken one.

I am getting ready to go to Belle's house and do whatever I do when I see her. I know I left off on bad terms with her, but there's still hope in me that she'd still let us do whatever it was that we did.

"Coming!" I yell as I walk to the door. Impatient knocks echo in the room again.

"I said I'm comi-" I stop talking when I see her at my door as I swung it open. "Wh-What are you doing here?" I stutter.

Her eyes rake through my half naked body and as much as she tries to not make it too obvious, she's practically drooling.

"Like what you see?" my cocky remark slips out of my mouth accidentally and I am mentally rolling my eyes at myself.

She just barges into my room, ignoring what I said, so I close the door and turn around to see a partially angry and partially emotional look on her face.

"What the hell is wrong with you!" she yells angrily.

"Wait, what're you talking about specifically?" I ask confused.

"You hooked up with Riley!"

Wait how did she know? The only person I told was Tom, so-

Ohh. Probably he told her.

"I needed my own revenge, okay?" I shrug it off and sit at the edge of the large, comfortable bed.

She faces me and shakes her head, "You're just as bad as Riley."

She starts to walk out before I grab her arm and turn her to me.

"Listen. I'm sorry, okay? I just wanted revenge for what they both did to me. Wouldn't you have wanted revenge too if you were in my position?"

She stops for a second and thinks.

"Exactly," I say.

"I wouldn't do it this way, though. Because you didn't just break two hearts, you broke another one too," she says bitterly as I look into her eyes and see that it's getting teary.

Oh I'm so fucking stupid. I had hurt her too, by doing it with Riley. I didn't even stop to think about how she would feel like if she had found out. And now that she has, I broke her heart. Again.

I'm such a selfish asshole.

I wrap both of my arms around her waist and hug her. Although she doesn't return the hug, I still leave my arms around her waist.

The familiar scent of vanilla fills my nostrils.

I'm such a prick.

"I'm so so sorry, Belle," I whisper.

She uses both her hands to pull me away by my chest and I stare into her hazel eyes once again.

"No. I've heard those words ten too many times already. I'm done with the 'I'm sorry's'." A tear slips through her eye. She continues, "And you have no idea how much I had missed you and how much you hurt me. I practically beg you to just continue what we're doing, but you just leave. Leave. Leave. Leave." She says the last words in mumbles to herself.
