"Tommy can I talk to you for a second in the kitchen?" I ask my brother who was laying on the sofa.
"Yeah sure," he nods his head.
Everyone was here except for Daniel, which I didn't care about.
As soon as we walked to the kitchen, I just ripped the bandaid off. "Tell me your side of the story about this Daniel and Riley thing," I say leaning on the counter and folding my arms in the process.
Tommy looked troubled for a second before masking the look with a small smile, "I d-don't know what you're talking about, Bella."
I ruffle my eyebrows at him, "Oh don't lie to me Tommy. You know what I'm talking about."
He clicks his tongue and flares his nostrils, "Fine. You wanna hear it? Fine. I love Riley and that's all that matters."
How could he.
"No, Tommy! That's not all that matters. You went behind one of your closest friend's back and got with his girlfriend! Riley is just as bad, but I expected more from you, Tommy. You hurt someone else's feeling in the process of getting with that."
"But I love her, Bells I do. Doesn't your brother's happiness at least make you glad?" he says leaning against the center counter of the kitchen across from where I was.
I shake my head, "Yeah and shouldn't your friend's happiness be important too. I get that you're happy and I'm glad, but you really got with the girl who planned it all. She fucking planned to get with Daniel just to get with you and then she got what she wanted. Yet, it all led to someone's heart being broken. That girlfriend of yours is so cruel and you just let her get what she wanted. Daniel fell into her love spell and apparently by the looks of it, you have too."
The last words I said before storming off to the living room was, "So don't go asking for help when she breaks your heart just like she did with Daniel."
I know that he is my brother and all, but what he did was totally wrong. I know that you can't control love, but he did it even behind Daniel's back. He got with her while her and Daniel were still dating which made it way more wrong than it already is.
I walk into the room to see a hurt-looking Riley looking back at me from the couch and everyone else eyeing me.
Ugh why does sound have to travel so easily around this damn house. That, and why the hell do I have to speak so loudly all the time!?
I run up to the room, ignoring the stares burning through me. But instead of going to my own room, I find myself opening the door to Daniel's.
He was on the edge of the bed with his body facing towards me. As soon as he heard me open the door, he looked up and I saw his usual ocean eyes.
Oceans may bother me, but the oceans I see in his eyes bring me comfort.
"What're you doing here? You should be resting?" he ask concerned.
I shake my head, "Not tired anymore. I just wanted to say that you can stay in my room whenever you want when my brother ever comes up here or when he goes here."
"Thank you," he says with a small smile on his face.
"I'm still mad at you though, so goodbye," I say closing the door in a hurry before he can say anything else and I get in my room.
I hear a ping sound coming from my bed which is my phone.
I get up to grab it and it's a text message from Pres.
You free tonight? -P
Yeah but I don't think I can go anywhere tonight -A
I don't expect the quick reply, but there it was in less than 5 seconds.
