Hours until he takes off into his Australia world. Hours until I won't see him and be able to touch him after a while. The closest we will have to touching is through our bond bracelets.
"I will miss you," Luna says in a dejected way.
We both decided to make a quick stop at the hospital before anything since Luna wanted to say her farewells to Daniel. She wasn't allowed to get out of the hospital since she's been having temperatures over 100°F. Although, if she had lower temps, she would've been able to get out.
"Hey, at least when Belle comes here, she'll sometimes give me a facetime and I'd see you. Sound cool?" he attempts to raise her mood.
He was sat next to her on the bed with his legs dangling off the bed while I sat on the wooden chair beside them.
Luna looked up from her lap and the frown on her face was now replaced with a smile.
"Good. You better not find any other Lunas my age and who is exactly like me. I don't want to be replaced," she chuckles.
Daniel sarcastically gasps and puts his hands right above his heart, "I would never. No human being shall ever replace the Luna Delray."
Luna giggles, "Good."
Daniel taps on his phone and turns it on to, what I assume, check the time.
He deeply sighs and looks down at Luna, "Well. I'd hate to say it, but we gotta go now."
"Okay," Luna looks down, once again.
"Come here," Daniel pulls her into his arms and Luna does the same. Except, her arms don't extend long enough to completely wrap her arms around him.

"So . . . " Daniel trails off while my hand was on the steering wheel, driving on the way to the airport.
We were at about 4 minutes into the drive in complete, awkward silence. I could've said something, but whenever I would open my mouth to say a single word, I'd be afraid that it would come out hoarse or croaky.
I just don't say anything again while he continues on trying to start a conversation. "Belle."
I keep my eyes on the road, not wanting to look over to him because I was afraid that even just one single glance of his beautiful face, then tears would fog up my eyes.
"Pull over for a second, babe."
I continue driving, not wanting to pullover because I know he wants me to do so just for me to talk and look at him.
"Pull over, please?"
I mean, talking to him for a second won't hurt, right?
I pull over the car to the side of the road, luckily no other cars were passing at this time, only just a few.
"Now look at me, Belle."
I glance at his face then back to the steering wheel. He turns my head using his index finger and thumb on my chin.
I see his face. The one I won't see in person for a while when he leaves.
Call me dramatic, but this does hurt.
Tears dare to fog up my eyes, but I refuse to let them.
"It's okay. You're okay. We'll both be fine. I may be leaving this island, but my heart stays with you. Plus, remember our deal about calls and facetiming?" he tries to calm me down and puts both his hands on my cheeks. He was referring to our conversation that we had a few days ago about when we'll be calling or when we'll facetime and other activities.
