"Chris...you making me blush." I cover my cheeks with my hands.

Chris...just sang to me!! He sang to me!

Could I have asked for a better boy?

"I do have physical gifts for you, not just singing to you." Chris laughs, picking up 2 big boxes.

Woah!

"You really didn't have to get me anything. The cake was enough."

"Enough? Oh no my girl. I want to spoil you." Chris sits down next to me. "So open these gifts. I still want to take you somewhere."

"You still want to take me out? Oh no Chris, this is more than enough."

"Not to me." Chris kisses my forehead. "Now open the gifts." he beams.

"Okay, okay." I laugh and rip the paper until I see a cardboard box. I frown and curiosity has the best of me. I open the box to find a keyboard.

"CHRIS!" I cover my mouth. I cannot help but smile, but Chris cannot see my smile. My cheeks are red hot.

"Open the other one." he smiles.

I contemplate for a second, and then open the next present.

I frown in confusion as I take out a gift. "A...bridle?"

"Isn't there something else in the box?" he asks.

I am really confused.

I look down to see an envelope is on the floor. I pick it up and open it.

"CHRIS! NO!" I cover my mouth in shock.

"YES!" he teases and squeezes my hand.

It's a letter stating that I will be going to horse riding lessons, starting next month.

I look at Chris and I know my cheeks are rosy red, but I don't care. I leap off the couch and wrap my arms around Chris and I squeeze him tightly.

"THANK YOU!" I cry.

"Anything for my girl." Chris says softly in my ear.

I meet my eyes with his and I lean forward to kiss him.
