(A/N, This thing up top is more to help me when writing this.)
Third Person POVRace walks with Albert and JoJo to JoJo's selling spot; Central Park.
Some other Newsies sell in Central Park from time to time, but JoJo always sold there.
It was known as his selling spot.
"Have I mentioned that I don't like switching spots?" Race questions, annoyedly licking pebbles.
Albert shoots him a glare. "No. I don't think you have." He responds sarcastically. "Want to mention it again?" He questions.
Race puts his hands up in a surrendering motion.
JoJo turns to Race, putting his hand on Race's shoulder. "I understand that this is hard for you, and it's a lot to take in, but let's try to be a little positive." He tells him softly.
Race nods. "Okay, okay, sorry." He mutters.
Race switched selling partners everyday.
If he had to admit it, the order of his favorite selling partners went like this;
1) Albert and JoJo.
- They were his best friends.
- Made him laugh a lot.
- Sometimes goofed off while selling.
- Albert and Race made sarcastic remarks.
- JoJo just rolled his eyes, and or ignored them.2) Spot, and usually Hotshot.
- The Brooklyn boys were fun to be with since it was cool to see how they did stuff.
- He hated walking to Brooklyn every other day, and staying there, then walking back.
- He was dating Spot.
- Hotshot teased him a lot for that.3) Davey, Les, Crutchie, and Jack.
- Race loved spending time with Jack and Crutchie since they're his brothers.
- Les is adorable and funny.
- Davey can be funny, but he's overprotective.
- Crutchie has a smile that spreads like butter.
- He teases Jack and Davey about their crushes.
- Pretends to be Les' brother, and people, somehow, believe them.4) Blink and Mush.
- Race sometimes felt like a third wheel with them.
- But they were fun to be around.
- Plus, he liked seeing them being cute together and teasing them.
- Laughed a lot together.5) Tommy boy, Finch, and Henry.
- He didn't feel like a third wheel with them, since Finch wasn't dating, only Tommy boy and Henry were.
- Race liked teasing them, and Finch would tease them with him at times.
- They were fun too.6) Lucky, Romeo, and Specs.
- At times it would only be Specs and Romeo, since Lucky liked selling with Les, but it was usually all three of them since Lucky liked Specs.
- Race liked teasing Specs and Romeo about them dating.
- Specs was overprotective, but Romeo helped him ease his nerves a bit.
- Funny
- Romeo only likes flirting with Specs, so it's funny when he friend-zones a girl who flirts with him7) Ace and Smokes.
- They were cute together, but he didn't tease them.
- Smokes was fun to hang with.
- Ace is overprotective and worried that if something happens to Race, Spot will kill him.
- Ace doesn't want Smokes to get hurt.
- Long Brooklyn walks.
- Brooklyn does things very different from Manhattan. It was Sunday, so he was back to selling with JoJo and Albert.
"I like selling, I really really do. I like selling, but the headlines sell like poo." Race jokingly sings, waving a paper over his head.
He did this a lot.
Albert and JoJo laugh.
A few people by papers from Race, shocking him.
Albert laughs at this. "Dang Race, maybe you should sing stuff more when selling." He jokes.
Race counts his money, laughing a bit. "Maybe." He responds.
