Chapter 42 - Bonus No.2

Someone requested we meet Alyssa Jacobson, so here she is.
Third Person POV

Alyssa immediately wrapped her arms around her boyfriend's neck, as he pulled her into a kiss.

"Dang," Alyssa's best friend, Apollo starts. "They act like they haven't seen each other in months."

"Okay, okay, done now." Switchblade pushes Alyssa away from Hefty. "I didn't say you could date each other so you could make out in front of me."

Both of them blush, smacking Switchblade with their hats.

"Go kiss your boyfriend." Alyssa comments, hugging her boyfriend again.

Switchblade smirks, turning to face his boyfriend.

Jacob looks in his boyfriend's eyes and immediately shakes his head. "Not right now."

Switchblade pouts. "Aww! Why not?"

Jacob looks around cautiously.

Switchblade could see what was bothering him in his green eyes; they were in a different borough, one that wasn't familiar with him and that he wasn't familiar with.

Jacob lived in the Lodge with Switchblade, but he went to school during the days, with Slap and another Newsie named Target walking him to and from school everyday.

His parents had kicked him out when they found out he was Gay, but that was only six months ago.

Jacob hated confrontation and he was always scared of someone finding out about him and Switchblade and not approving.

Switchblade wraps his arms around the taller boy's waist. "I promise you no one here is not okay with us dating."

"Do they know?" Jacob whispers.

Switchblade shakes his head. "No, not yet, but we can show them.

"Jacob, I promise you, everyone here is Gay." Alyssa laughs, gesturing to all of her friends, who laugh. "Like, no one here is straight, except, obviously, Hefty and I."

"I'm the closest to straight you'll get here." The leader of Alyssa's borough, Acid, states.

"You have a boyfriend," Apollo mutters, eyebrows furrowed.

"Exactly." Acid laughs, causing a good amount of other Newsies to laugh as well.

"I mean," Slap starts. "I'm Pan."

"I will hit you with a pan." Alyssa threatens.

Hefty wraps his arms around Alyssa's waist, stopping her.

Like Switchblade, Alyssa was pretty short, but that didn't mean you should underestimate her.

Slap hides behind his leader and his leader's boyfriend. "Why do you hate me so much?"

Alyssa shrugs. "Cause it's fun to hate you."

Switchblade rolls his eyes. "Hug."

The two Newsies turn to him, eyes wide.

Switchblade's eyes darken. "Now."

Alyssa and Slap roll their eyes in unison, wrapping their arms around each other.

Switchblade rolled his eyes at the clear disgust on Slap's face.

"You two act more like siblings than Alyssa and I do." Switchblade mutters, nuzzling his head in Jacob's neck.

Hefty and Apollo laugh, but it was mainly at how red Jacob's face got.

"I will murder you." Alyssa whispers in Slap's ear.
