I was with Kylie week ago, she didn't left me her number and I couldn't find her on any social media too. I was looking everywhere.

"What are you thinking about?" Margo said and my thoughts stopped the second I heard her voice.

"N-nothing," I faked my smile.

"Kylie?" she smirked.

"Stop," I said and throw her apron on her ,,let's get to work," I said and left the kitchen.

"Look who's there," I heard Margo right behind me whispering.

I looked who opened the door. It was Kylie with her friends again.

"Goooo," Margo said and pushed me softly.

"Welcome in Botanica Restaurant," I said and put menus on the table.

She didn't even look at me. She was sitting with her head down. The same way she was sitting on my first day.

Why is this making me sad this much?

I came back after few minutes.

"So what can I get you?" I said and looked at her. Nothing.

"We would like to have two of these vegan burgers," Chris pointed his finger on the picture in the menu, "and two mushroom salads," he smiled at me and handed me menus.

"I'll be right back," I said and left their table.

"Sooo?" Margo stopped me when I put their orders in the kitchen table.

"She didn't even look at me."

"She will don't worry."

30 minutes later

When I left the kitchen and entered the restaurant I could see Brandon waving at me.

"Yes?"

"We would like to pay for our order," he said and opened his wallet.

"It'll be 30 dollars," I put their check on the table and looked at Kylie. She was looking at her hands under the table again.

"Thank you," Chris looked at me with little smile on his face.

Kylie stand up last and put her hoodie on.

"I'm glad you didn't order just water," I said to her.

She looked at me for the first time with a serious face. I would be dead if her look could kill.
She looked away and left the restaurant with her friends. Without any word.

What did I do? She was smiling when she was at my house the whole time. And now it's like I hurt her so much that she couldn't look at me.

Later that night

I took a walk to Silver Lake, I haven't had a chance to see this lake yet.

This lake is only 20 minutes of walking from my house.

When I was walking on a sidewalk I could see a girl in a black hoodie sitting on the wooden bench. She was clearly crying. She was sobbing really loud.

"Hey, are you okay?" I said when I was really close to her.

She immediatelly looked at me. I was really surprised when I saw her.
