She was waiting for me outside the restaurant.

"Hello," she said and hugged me.

"Hey," I smiled.

"So I think we should start where we met for the first time, it would be romantic at this time of the day."

"Yeah," I said but I wasn't sure about all of this.

When we got to the lake we sat on the same bench I met her. On the same bench I was kissing Kylie yesterday. I was sitting at the same spot she was sitting yesterday. Just the thought of that gave me butterflies.

"You okay?" Lauren interrupted my thoughts.

"Yeah, totally," I smiled.

"I'm glad we're here," she grabbed my hand. I didn't like that but I didn't want to make her uncomfortable.

"Yeah."

"You look pretty," she got closer to me.

"Thank you," it didn't have same effect as it had with Kylie.

Time passed by and we were now sitting in a park on a blanket she brought with her.

"I can tell your future just by looking at your lines you have on your palm," she broke our silence.

"Tell me," I said and she grabbed my hand and she was tracing my palm with her finger. I got chills over my body. Not many people have been touching me during my life. She noticed. And that was bad.

"You don't have to be nervous around me, honey," she smiled and she leaned closer to me. My hand was still in hers.

"I am not," I was nervous, but it was different nervousness that I felt with Kylie.

"Your body is saying something else," she was getting more and more closer. She didn't kiss me. Her lips was near my ear.
"I like you Grace," she whispered, and she kissed my cheek, I got shivers all over my body.

"And my future is?" I tried to change the topic.

"Me?" she chuckled.

"Well, I don't know," I leaned away from her and put my hands in my hoodie.

"That's okay, it's just our first date."

"I'm going out with someone else too, I think you should know that. And it's more serious than I thought," It wasn't really serious with Kylie, but I was feeling different with her.

"That's okay. I don't mind," she smiled.

"Uhm, okay. I think I should go now, my dad is already home and I promised him that we'll eat dinner together," I lied. Again.

"Okay," she stood up and she wanted a hug.

"Bye then," I hugged her and started to walk home.

I just know I didn't really enjoy it. We definitely have just minimal connection. I took my phone from my back pocket and started typing.

Me: she almost kissed my lips

Kylie: almost? where are you?

Me: near lake

Kylie: our bench in 15 minutes

Me: so that's our bench now?

Kylie: any problem?

Me: our bench in 15 minutes

I didn't want to rush to our place. But I was excited to see her third day in a row. I saw her from the distance. She was already sitting there.

"What is almost?" she stood up when she noticed I'm close to her.

"She wanted to whisper something in my ear. She only kissed my cheek."

"So you were whispering? About what?" she asked when we sat down.

"She told me she likes me."

"And you?"

"I like you."

"You do?"

"Of course I like you. She could never beat Malibu. Or yesterday kissing right here. Or you."

"I'm glad to know that," she smiled.

"But she wants another date."

"Are you going?"

"I don't know."

"But no kissing, these are mine," she put her thumb on my bottom lip.

"Yours," I said still with her thumb on my lip.

"Good," she licked her lips and she was still looking at me.

"Can you kiss me already? Stop teasing me," she kissed me but I could feel lot of emotions she put it into the kiss. It wasn't basic.

"But I think we need to stop, she's maybe still in a park and I said I have to go home."

"Okay then, when I can see you again?

"You should come to botanica, maybe eat something," I suggested.

"Tomorrow?"

"Okay then," I stood up.

"Let me walk you home," she grabbed my hand.

When we reached our porch she pushed be against our front door and kissed me passionately.

"That was for what?"

"I like you Grace, more than you think, you're amazing and you're finally fixing my broken pieces."

"I'm glad to hear that, come tomorrow, I'll be waiting for you," I said and kissed her lips one more time. She then disappeared in the dark.

These 3 days were the best days in my existence. The thing I didn't know was that I could lose this in the matter of 30 seconds.
