Aizawa POV

"I don't want to regret anything. I would rather know someone's fate than leave them and never know"

My words clearly had a effect on her.

She looked at me with the most emotion I've ever seen in her face so far.

She looked at me with regret.

I watched as her hands bolted up to her ears.

"shut up shut up shut up"

"Jane? Are you ok?"

She fell to the floor and I immediately bolted right next to her and caught her head before it could hit the ground.

Her eyes were still wide open as she mumbled things under her breath.

An anxiety attack I assumed.

Being a teacher I had experienced things like this.

But never this bad.

She started to sob and apologize.

I brought her body onto my lap and put her head in my chest. My chin resting on her head as I rubbed her back in an attempt to comfort her.

"It's ok Jane just listen to my voice."

I tried to reach out to her.

Using her obviously fake name I knew this would be hard.

She started to scream. Apologizing and saying words under her breath I couldn't understand.

"Jane I need you to listen to me"

"Jane wake up"

Her hands dropped from her ears and she started to violently shake.

I panicked I knew I needed to get her to wake up.

"JANE!"

"JANE WAKE UP!"

She suddenly stopped shaking and her once glossed over eyes now showed color.

"Jane? Are you ok?"

I said worry laced in my tone.

She stopped crying and her once hurt and scared expression turned blank.

How was she able to just turn her emotion off like that?

"Yea. I just... I'm fine Sho." I watched as she stood up off of my lap and turned towards her room.

I could tell she needed to be alone.

But I wanted to comfort her.

The way she looked so scared. It made my heart tighten.

I just want to understand her.

She needs help but she's too damn stubborn to ask.

I though back to what I had said earlier.

" I guess we're complete opposites"

Maybe me and her are similar.

Letting our pasts haunt us.

~~

I had woken up laying on the couch.

Guess I fell asleep after she went to her room.

I stood walking to the kitchen and took a quick glance at the clock.

6:15 am.

Barely any sleep.

Maybe I should make breakfast for her.
