Hyejin's eyelids were getting heavier until she eventually gave in and her head found Jungsoo's shoulder. Jungsoo stopped breathing when he felt her head. He glanced at his shoulder then looked back forward with his eyes wide open. Poor boy was getting flashbacks.

The bus finally stops and the classmates in the bus cheered as they reached their destination. That wakes up Hyejin. She jumped, realizing her head was resting on Jungsoo's shoulder. Then she realized he had been sleeping too. She scrunched her face in embarrassment and got up right away since the students were already leaving the bus.

The students were settling in their cabins. Hyejin found hers and unpacked all her things. She looked up at the door and saw Haewon staring at her. She walked in. Hyejin crossed her arms and went on her bed, visibly uncomfortable. Don't tell me i'm bunking with her... "You missed me?" Haewon walked up to Hyejin with Minnie beside her and pinched her cheek. "I would love it if you didn't touch me." Hyejin said, deciding to be bold. Haewon released her hand, offended. She got closer to her. "Look, I get that Jungsoo doesn't like you anymore, but you don't have to take it out on me." She backed up, smiled, then unpacked her stuff.

It was time for the first activity. A scavenger hunt. The base was the campfire. The teachers gave the students a list of things they needed to find. There were assigned partners but nobody really cared. People just used this to wander the woods. Dangerous, yes, but they had emergency buttons in case something happened. Hyejin couldn't find Seonmin, so she figured he was just messing around with some boy. She walked into the forest and all she saw were groups of people talking. She started wandering, eventually finding this opening. Curious, she walked through the trees and pushed pass the leaves, leading to a waterfall.

What did I just find... She kneeled down and watched the water in admiration. This is...catch me back here after dinner... She figured it would be time to get back anyway so she excitedly skipped back to the base. Jungsoo, seeing her skip happily in the distance, wondered where she came from...

The campers had dinner so it was time for the campfire. She walked back to the campfire from the lunch tables slowly, dreading eating a bunch of soggy cracker sandwiches in front of stinky people. But she saw Seonmin so she sped walk and took the seat next to his. She put her head on his shoulder and pouted. "I hate people. You wanna sneak to this waterfall I found?" Seonmin cleared his throat and pointed to this guy with his eyes. "You know I'd love to sneak away with you but I've got my eyes on that target." "Oh okayyyyy get it then!" Hyejin was so happy to see Seonmin crushing on one person. (Pls💀) She elbowed him and they laughed. The guy Seonmin pointed at eventually came to sit with them. They introduced themselves, and Hyejin, wanting to give them space (and also wanting to get away from people), snuck away to the waterfall. It was getting dark so Hyejin was kind of tripping on things like rocks and sticks. But she really wanted to just get it over with and see the waterfall again.

Jungsoo noticed Hyejin was gone after a while. Is she seriously wandering off this late? What, does she want to die? It's always her. ~~~
Maybe I should've brought a flashlight... maybe this was a bad idea... Was all she could think about when she tried finding her way to the waterfall since it would confuse her if she tried going back to the camp right then. She saw the opening eventually and got excited. She started speed walking when she tripped on something she definitely would've noticed if there had been some light. She fell down and held her knee, wincing in pain. She figured she should stay silent since it was her fault she's hurt and she'll get over it in like 30 seconds.

Jungsoo took a flashlight and walked into the woods. He tried remembering the path he took when he went to check what Hyejin came out of. He suddenly heard muffled whimpers in the distance. He sighed in frustration, rubbed his forehead, then walked over to the sound.

Her knee did still hurt, but after a while she got up and stood still debating if she should go back or see the waterfall. While standing she saw something in the distance and squinted, trying to figure out if she sees a flashlight or a moving ball of light. ...Okay maybe a flashlight. It was getting closer and closer to her. She did get scared, which is why she was planted in place. She simply could not move. She whispered to herself, "Okay. My life was fine so far. I guess it's my time to pass. I'm ready to see the light. Life was great so f-" She squinted and saw a familiar figure.
"What are you doing?😐" Jungsoo had found her and pointed the flashlight in her face. Hyejin squinted because of the light. Jungsoo moved the flashlight from her face to her legs. He saw a cut. "Aish..." He looked away then back at her, "What were you thinking?!" Jungsoo rubbed his forehead in frustration. "I-" Jungsoo paused for a moment. Then he squatted down in front of Hyejin. "Get on my back." "Huh?" "Do you want me to leave you here? Get on my back😐."
