~Chapter 13~

"I have something I wanted to ask you.."
Hyejin looked at him confused. Jungsoo looked down.
"So we've been going on dates...and doing other stuff..."
Like taking my virginity
"...for quite some time now and I think I made it pretty clear that I like you.."
"Yeah?"
"And we've made quite some memories already.."
"Mhm."
"Do you like me?"
"Of course what kind of question is that-" Jungsoo looks in her eyes.
"Do you want to be mine?"
Hyejin smiles.
"Like your girlfriend?"
No shit-
"Yes. I'll treat you like the Princess you are," Jungsoo turns so his body's facing Hyejin. "I can buy you food, take you out on more dates..do some.." Jungsoo leans in to whisper in Hyejin ear. "other things.."
My ovaries.
"But, most importantly, you'd officially be mine and I'd be yours." He takes her hands. Hyejin could feel her face burning up.
"Yeah," Hyejin smiles brightly and hugs Jungsoo tight. "I'll be your girlfriend." Jungsoo smiles to himself and holds her close. He kisses the top of her head.

A few days go by and it's Friday, the day of the school party everybody was talking about. It was all Seonmin would talk about.
"You're going with me to that party, Hyejin." Seonmin said to her as they walked to a nearby convenience store to buy some snacks.
"My dad's gonna kill me and you know that!"
"Okay but we're in high school! Loosen up a little. You've already lost your virginity, a little party won't hurt."
Hyejin widened her eyes and flicked his forehead.
"Too loud!" she whisper yells.
"So you'll go?"
"..Fine. But I'm not drinking." She gets a text from Jungsoo.

"Your boyfriend, huh?"
Hyejin sighed.
"Yup. He wants me to go to that party."
"Well then now you can't back out, HAHA! You're definitely going."
Hyejin rolled her eyes as they got their food.

It was 8pm and Hyejin was debating whether she should go or not because she would have to persuade her dad to let her go, and on top of that, she'd have to face all those...people. The party started at 10. She eventually convinced herself that was going. She went downstairs to persuade her dad.
"Hey daddy! I have something I wanted to ask you." Her dad was sitting at the kitchen island sorting through paperwork with his glasses on. He took them off and switched his attention to Hyejin.
"What's up?"
"Well you know how I've always been serious about school..and I've never really socialized and I have like one friend."
"Yeah?"
"I was wondering if I could go to my classmate's birthday party."
She lied. It was a highschool party to celebrate nothing. They just wanted an excuse to lose their heads, drink, and do drugs.
"Hyejin-"
"I won't drink. I mean there won't be any drinks in the first place, we're only highschoolers. I just want to wish my classmate a happy birthday!"
"Well..okay but don't come back home late and don't-"
"Thank you daddy! I won't do anything you wouldn't allow me to do."
"Alright, kiddo. Have fun!"
That was easy.
Hyejin went upstairs to glam up for the party.

She put her hair in a neat bun and left out two front pieces then curled them.
She texted Seonmin to pick her up since she was planning on clinging on to him the whole night since she didn't really know anyone.

They arrive at the party together. The place was huge. It was a whole mansion. This made Hyejin more anxious because it meant even more people.
"I'm gonna go get some drinks. You want?"
"Don't leave me!!!"
"Relax, I'll be right back."
"Alright, hurry.."

Hyejin stood near the entrance anxiously waiting for Seonmin when a gorgeous girl and her friend walked up to her.

Suddenly I am ✨i n s e c u r e✨
She introduced herself.
"Hi! Have I met you before?"
"No," Hyejin said quietly, wondering where tf Seonmin is.
"Well my name is Haewon. It's nice to meet you."
Where have I heard that name?
"What're you doing standing here all alone? Come hang with us!" Her other friend said, leading her towards the lounge. "My name's Minnie, by the way. I love love love your outfit."
"Thanks..."

Seonmin returned to the entrance with their drinks.

Hyejin, Haewon, and Minnie all sat down on a couch.
"You're super pretty. Where'd you get your outfit?" Haewon asked, playing with Hyejin's hair.
"My closet."
"Ahahaha! You're so funny? Isn't she funny?" Haewon asked Minnie.
"Hilarious."
Hyejin awkwardly laughed then looked around anxiously looking for her friend or Jungsoo. She looked across the room and made eye contact with Jungsoo. He was talking to his friends. Hyejin smiled and waved at him to come to her. Jungsoo smiled, told his friends he'd go talk to someone then walked up to her.
Haewon looked to where she was waving. She saw Jungsoo and rolled her eyes.
Hyejin stood up.
"Hey Princess! You look beautiful.." He kissed her forehead. Hyejin hugged his waist and smiled.
"Thank you-"
Jungsoo looked at Haewon and Minnie.
"Why were you sitting with them?"
"Why? They're super nice!" Hyejin looked back at them and Haewon and Minnie quickly changed their expressions from annoyed to friendly.
"That's Haewon...the girl who always tried to approach me?"
