It was Friday, the day of their date. Hyejin was excited as they were going to get to know each other. She puts on a face mask then goes in the shower. She gets out, curls her hair, then washes off the face mask. She does natural makeup with some eyeliner.
"Now what am I going to wear..."~~~
Jungsoo gets up and gets ready as well. He showers and puts on the outfit he prepared.
He showers himself with cologne then texts Hyejin.
Hyejin finally comes up with an outfit.
Jungsoo texts her that he's outside. She tells her dad that's she's going out.
"Where?"
"To Seonmin's house."
"Like that? Why so fancy?"
"I can't look good?" Hyejin winks at Jinae who's standing right next to their dad.
"Alright I gotta go now bye~" She heads out. Hyejin's dad scratches his head.
She looks around and sees Jungsoo down the block leaning on his car. She runs to him and surprises him by sneak attacking him from behind to hug him. Jungsoo lifts up his arm and looks under it to see Hyejin. He smiles and hugs her.
"You look nice."
"Thank you." Hyejin smiles. Jungsoo opens the door for her and they get into the car.
"So where are we going?"
"You'll just have to see. I know a place." He smiled at her then looked back at the windshield. He placed his hand on her thigh. Hyejin grabs his hand and intertwines her fingers with his. They soon start driving through a forest.
"Jungsoo are you planning to kill me?!?"
"Of course not, Princess."
She felt her cheeks heat up at the name "Princess."They finally reach the destination.
They get out the car.
Omg this is actually magical-
Hyejin almost cries as she looks at the scenery.
"How do you know all these places???"
"My parents used to take me here to have picnics."
Hyejin's face switches from amazement to concern.
"Oh my God- Are your parents-"
"No no they're just never home anymore because of their jobs. My moms an actor and my dads a businessman which is kinda why I have all this money."
"Ohhh okay okay."
They walk towards the lake and sit down at the edge of the grass. Hyejin takes her shoes off to soak her toes in the water.
"What about you?" Jungsoo asks.
"Hmm?"
"Your family."
"Oh. What do you want to know?"
"Anything :)."
"Okay well...I really only have my dad and my sister. My sisters deaf."
"Oh," Jungsoo said surprised.
"Yeah. But she's the absolute sweetest." Jungsoo stares at her in admiration as she talks. He realized she didn't talk about her mom.
"Wait what about your mom?"
Hyejin flinched at the question. He quickly noticed she was uncomfortable.
"You don't have to answer that, sorry."
"No it's okay. We're here to get to know each other after all right?" She sighs then continues. "My mom died...of suicide when I was 11 years old." Jungsoo's eyes widen. Hyejin looks at him and weakly laughs.
"It's fine, I'm over it. I mean I still get nightmares about her, but I'm not really sad about it anymore." Hyejin was open about these things. Jungsoo scoots closer to her and hugs her.
"You're so strong. I hope you know that."
Hyejin smiles and pulls away.
"I'm fine, really. I've gotten used to her being gone. It's been like 6 years. Anyway tell me more about you!"
Their conversation goes on and on. They practically knew everything about each other at that point. The sun was setting so they decided to star gaze. Jungsoo grabbed a blanket from his car and they laid down next to each other, looking at the stars. It was silent for a moment
"You know, I might've dated a lot...but I don't think I've ever felt this way about anyone before."
"I guess I'm special." Hyejin jokes.
"You are." Jungsoo says softly. Hyejin looks at him, then sits up and stares at the lake, smiling to herself.
"I never really dated because I was so focused on my studies.. so you're practically my first." Hyejin confesses. Jungsoo smiles and sits up with her. He couldn't take his eyes off of her. After a moment of silence, Hyejin decided to start another conversation.
"You know-" She suddenly turns her head to face Jungsoo. Their faces were very close. Too close. She quickly looks away when Jungsoo reaches for her cheek for her to look back at him. They stared into each other's eyes for a moment until Jungsoo slowly leaned, closing his eyes. Hyejin never kissed a boy before so she just shut her eyes, waiting for impact.
