~Taehyung's POV~

As I woke up today, I had this weird feeling that something good was about to happen. My body was tingling with anticipation and I didn't even know what I was expecting.

I tried to think of the possible good things that could happen today, but the only thing that came to mind was Lisa's audition. After all, that was the big event of the day. So I shrugged and let the feeling slide, because this had to be it. Lisa would nail the audition, she would be casted on the showcase, and everything would go milk and honey today.

I got out of bed and stretched my arms a little, feeling my whole body pumped up and ready for a new day. When I looked out the window, I could see the sun rays casting a warm light among the leaves of the oak in front of our house, and the simple sight of nature in its purity brought a smile to my face. It reminded me of childhood, and the good old days.

With a small sigh, I walked over to the bathroom, splashed some ice-cold water over my face and ran a hand through my locks to get myself a decent look. Then I put on a black tee and the first pair of pants I could find in the closet and I proceeded to walk downstairs, whistling a soft tune that had been stuck in my head for a couple of days now.

I had no idea why people kept saying my fashion sense was outstanding and such - I couldn't quite say I didn't care about what I wore, but I tried to dress myself with whatever felt comfortable and matched my mood. No wonder I've grown fond of black attires lately..

But maybe it was finally the time for a change. After all, the main reason for my bad moods was now gone. Jungkook and I got along way better, and I think we were slowly, but surely making our way back to being best friends. Which was not exactly what I had hoped for when we finally had the talk and sorted things out, but I couldn't complain about it, either. It made me realize how much I'd missed Kook as simply my friend.

So when he came up to me at breakfast and asked if I wanted to hang tonight, I quickly replied with "You mean game night with popcorn and bubble tea? You're on."

"You know me far too well", he smirked, with a look he'd give me everytime I agreed to be partners in crime. I couldn't help but smile as well, still surprised at how easily we bounced back to how we once were. Maybe our bond was stronger than we'd thought. Still, I kept wondering what would happen if we tried to take it further.. But no. I shook my head, casting away those thoughts because they were leading nowhere good and, when I noticed Kook's eyes still gazing towards me, I shifted a bit uncomfortably in my seat and urged him to hurry up or else we'd be late at the gym.

His smile faded a little and he went back to munching on his sandwich, finishing his meal in just three bites and gesturing for me to come with him to the workout room. Which I gladly did.

~a few. moments. later. inside the gym~

"Hi boys, good to see you!" Our instructor, Mr. Son greeted us cheerfully as we walked inside. We had arrived a bit sooner than the rest, but that was nothing new, since we found ourselves pretty often alone in the gym, waiting for the others to join us.
As if they didn't like coming here at all or something.. still, Mr. Son surely didn't waste any time as he assigned us both with a set of warm-up exercises before we got started.

As usual, I went over to the treadmill, beginning with a slow, walking pace and building my way up from there, while Jungkook began his day with a set of squats and stretches.
He kept a small distance from me as we began to warm up, since both of us preferred to be in our own personal space and listen to whatever music we wanted before the others joined us and we were forced to stand the weird ass noises they made while exercising.
