~Chapter 11~

The next morning was a bit tough, as I had to figure out a way to get Yoongi out of the residence without being noticed. The problem was that we had both slept in and now Lisa was in front of my door, knocking on it nervously.

She would always use my bathroom in the morning, since it was by far the biggest one in the building. But she mostly used it so that she could brush her teeth at the same time with me; we would always compete to see who could resist longer without spitting the toothpaste out. Hygiene was very important, what can I say?

But now I definitely couldn't care less about that, with Yoongi in my bed and Lisa at my door.

"Liss, I'm very tired....could you please use your bathroom today?"

"Come on, unnie.....please let me in......"

And then she crouched down on the floor and began to mumble in the keyhole: "do you wanna build a snowman...?"

Ughhh, the downsides of raising a kid.....She knew I couldn't resist that sweet baby voice of hers. I could only imagine the puppy eyes on the other side of the door, begging me silently.

I sighed and gave some instructions to Yoongi, then he nodded and hid himself in my closet. Once more, I was grateful for the size of that thing. It was huge, very wide but also very tall. The short boy could fit inside easily.

After making sure he is safe behind the locked closet door, I let Lisa in, smiling as I found her half-asleep on the floor, in front of my door.

She quickly got up though, and skipped over to the bathroom. We had our competition again, and this time I let her win. I was in a particularly good mood today, I wonder why.....

She happily pecked my cheek and got out of my room, singing until she reached hers and locked the door. I sighed in relief and then got back to the closet, telling Yoongi that he could come out.

Heh, he could come out of the closet.......after last night, I doubted he would find that funny, though. I pushed the thought out of my head, but then noticed he wasn't out yet.

"What are you doing? I said you can come out now."

"Oh, I was just enhanced by your fascinating garments, milady....You locked me here, dumdum. Remember?" He groaned through the door.

I burst into laughter as I realized he was, of course, right. I quickly unlocked the door and helped him get out while whispering a small apology.

Lisa was no longer a concern......she would spend at least half an hour in her room, deciding upon what to wear. But the major problem was now Jisoo and Rosie, they would always be on the corridors either coming to my room or Lisa's for a little morning gossip.

God, I really should've thought this through.

Ok, think, Jen. You have to think. The hallway was out of the question, but my room was on the second floor, so Yoongi couldn't yeet himself out the window.

Awesome, just.....bloody awesome.

I decided that facing the girls would be a less painful option than breaking a leg, so I crooked the door open and peeked out into the lobby. To my surprise, it was empty. The girls must have all been in Lisa's room.

I quickly sent a little thank you to whoever was up there helping us and told Yoongi to follow me as I got out of the residence, onto the street.

He crossed to get to his residence, then looked back and smiled at me, waving cutely.

That little dork....

Days passed one by one, each one with a bit of new entertainment. Now that we were officially out there on the market and the entire world could see us, so many people wanted to meet BLACKPINK. We'd even had a fan meeting organised, but I was surprised to see how many people actually showed up.

Most of them were girls, no surprise here, but I did see some fanboys too. Sadly, none was better-looking than my Yoongi. But again, no surprise here. The boy was an idol, for crying out loud. Of course he looked stunning.

Then I remembered myself: 'You're and idol too, Jen. People came from other countries to meet you! Never forget that.'

I signed some posters and tried to smile and be nice to everybody, but truth is I was indeed in a great mood. These people really enjoyed our music, our dancing, our stage presence.....
was I overreacting after just one performance?
Maybe a little, but still.
I was always excited to meet fans.

After a month or so, our manager announced us that we would be having another concert in two weeks, where we would perform all of our songs so far.

I was so happy, our debut had gone very well and I had gained a lot of confidence ever since. A new concert was no longer a source of fear and distress, but of pure excitement.

I could tell that the girls were happy too, especially Lisa. She cared a lot for fan meetings, so a new concert could only bring up more occasions for such events. Jisoo, on the other hand, had that platonic expression of hers.

"Unnie, is everything ok? What's wrong?"

"Ughh, another concert? So soon?! When will I have time to sleep...."

We all burst into laughter at her silliness, but there was no room for sleep or rest in an idol's life. We only had time for concerts, fan meetings, practice, gym sessions....for some reason though, I didn't seem to mind it so much anymore.
The only downside was that I couldn't see Yoongi anytime soon.

We were very close to getting caught last time, so we agreed to stop seeing each other for a while, at least until things settled down for me and my group. After that, we were planning to spend at least one day a week together.

Seemed impossible to live without his daily texts, though. Every night, I would go to sleep thinking about things he'd say that would make me crack up histerically at 2am, probably waking up the rest of the girls. Every once in a while, Jisoo would come into my room and smack my head for interrupting her beauty sleep. But falling asleep with a smile on my lips every night was definitely improving my lifestyle.

But soon enough, another announcement arrived that really cheered me up. One day after dance practice, Sensei told us that BTS would officially attend our upcoming concert, since they all wanted to see us perform live. That would mean two things;

1) I could see Yoongi again

2) I could finally get to know more about the other boys

Of course, I already knew quite a lot thanks to Yoongi since he was an amazing tea-spiller, but....I wanted to find out things from them! They all seemed like super fun and nice boys, and I was dying to see them all at our concert.
