"Miraculous Ladybug!" I yelled out as I threw my yo-yo in the air. A flourish of pink sparkles rushed through the the room and restored any damage we may have caused, including the cut on my cheek.
Without wasting a second thought I made eye contact with Adrien and ran over, throwing myself into his arms. I stood up on the tips of my toes and greeted him with a longing kiss.
"I'm so glad you came to your senses," I murmured as we pulled away. Nothing needed to get too heated since we had an audience.
"Would I ever leave you bugaboo?" He teased as he looked down at me with those stupid mesmerizing green eyes.
"You sure scared me Chaton," I replied and he frowned.
"I would never let him hurt you Marinette. You mean more to me than my mother," Adrien confessed and my eyes widened when I slapped his face lightly.
"Don't say that Adrien,"
He shook his head, blonde hair falling in front of his face.
"But it's true my lady...and it may have taken me a while to realize it...but I would choose you over my mother in any day or reality,"
I moved the hair from his face and gave him another peck.
"I love you kitty,"
"I know," He smirked. "Now let's get him to the police,"
I knew "him" had to be his father. I couldn't imagine how painful it must have been for him, obviously enough to make him snap and say heck with it let's just turn him to a pile of dust.
Rena Rouge and Carapace grabbed Gabriel by his arms and we all walked out of the mansion together, with a sense of pride. We had finally defeated Hawkmoth. Paris was no longer under constant fear of an akuma.
I had done it, well, we all had done it.
Never would I have ever been able to defeat Hawkmoth without the help of my team, and especially Chat Noir. We were partners.
As soon as we opened the tall doors, we were greeted with dozens of people. From policemen to reporters and cameramen. And even just random passing civilians.
"Ladybug! Is Gabriel Agreste Hawkmoth?" A reporter shoved a microphone in my face.
"Yes," I replied curtly before turning and finding a camera.
"Is Paris now free of akumas? Did you defeat Hawkmoth?"
"Yes, Hawkmoth has been defeated-" in the midst of the chaos, Adrien's hand had slipped from my fingers and I looked around trying to find him. "Sorry excuse me," I apologized a sigh tried to make my way through the ocean of people.
"Ladybug!"
"Ladybug do you know why Gabriel became Hawkmoth?"
