"Chaton," it can't be Adrien was my Chaton this entire time! How did I not see this before. " Chat grab my purse I know I'll see you soon." with that I was out the window being taking across Paris.
The akuma was taking me somewhere and I had no idea where it was taking me but I knew that Adri- Chat would come and rescue me. It was very cold out considering it was the middle of December and I was in a lingerie night outfit flying across the rooftops where everyone could see me. I can't even imagine what is going through my parents or Alya's head right now.
All of a sudden the akuma stops on the roof and puts me down. I am very confused right now because an akuma just released me and I don't know why.
"Today is your lucky day young lady hawkmoth must take a liking to you because he demanded me to let you go." He said this in a very annoyed tone.
" Hawkmoth demanded that you release me, why?"
"I don't know maybe you know him but then again I really don't care I'm just following orders."
With that being said the akuma and I saw Chat coming our way and he took off in the opposite direction and left me there on the roof. I still am very confused on why Hawkmoth demanded I be released. Once Chat reached me he hugged me tightly.
"Are you ok Marinette?"
"Yeah I'm ok I'm just really cold it is in the middle of December you know." While I respond Chat is checking me over for any scratches, marks, or bruises to which I again say I'm fine and he believes me this time.
"I'm glad you're ok but do you happen to know why he let you go?" He picked me up bridal style after he asked.
"yeah, apparently Hawkmoth demanded that I be released so the akuma was just following orders. What I don't understand is why he wanted me released I don't know what he has planned and I have a feeling it has something to do with me."
"Hopefully not and I brought your purse," I thanked him.
"Can you take me to an ally way so that I can transform please?"
"Of course M'lady," he sent a wink my way.
I giggled instead of rolling my eyes because I knew this is Adrien and I found it funny how they are the same person but have two different personalities. He took me to the nearest alleyway so that I could transform, once I did I wasn't as cold anymore thanks to Tikki so we headed out to defeat the akuma so that we could talk about our new discovery.
When Chat and I approached Decker, and the akuma flew out of his wallet and purified itself. We looked at each other highly confused that for some reason Hawkmoth was trying to make sure I was unharmed and going the extra mile to make sure I remained unharmed.
