I was on my way home from lunch with Adrien and I must say we are alike in more ways than one. I was still debating on whether or not I should tell him about his half-sister but, I trust Mr. Agreste will keep his word and tell him soon. I opened the trapdoor to my room and realized the amount of work I have to do.
"Oh Tikki I am never going to all of this work done in time! I have to plan Alya's bachelorette party, make the bridesmaid dresses, make her wedding dress, be prepared to comfort Adrien when he finds out about his sister, make sure I am ready to give my speech for the gala, and still be ladybug."
" Oh Marinette you can do this, I've seen you do loads more work than this and you had less time to do it."
"That's just it Tikki, That was small assignments these are huge. I can't let Alya down or Adrien no matter what, I also don't want to lose my job so my speech has to be perfect. Why is life so hard!"
Tikki blinks for a moment at Marinette's little rant and starts to giggle.
" Marinette you are a smart and the most creative person I have every met. You can do this all you have to do is focus on one assignment at a time and you should be fine, I believe in you."
" Thanks Tikki, I don't know what I would do without you by my side."
" Never be on time for anything and not been able to over come that stutter."
" Ok ok I get it Tikki you don't have to be so forward and blunt about it."
" You asked I just gave the most correct answer."
" I wasn't asking I was just...just... nevermind I have work to do."
Tikki starts to giggle and then lets out a high pitch squeak.
" Are you ok Tikki?"
" Yeah, just thinking about something that's all."
" Ok well I'm going to start the party planning and speech now."
Tikki nodded her head letting me know that she won't bother me while I'm working. As the time past I got done with the planning and the speech for the gala. I couldn't help but think about Adrien and His half-sister, I had an awful feeling in my stomach that something wasn't right but I just can't put my finger on it.
" Hey Tikki I think I'm going to go to the gym for a while, I need to clear my head of all the stress and I could use a good workout."
Tikki: " That sounds like a great idea Marinette, could pack me some extra cookies incase I get hungry please?"
" Of course I can I can't have you feeling hungry or else there would be no ladybug."
Tikki: " Thanks Marinette."
" Don't mention it, No come on lets go to the gym."
I made my way out of the bakery and was on my to the gym. Once I get there I see an instructor and he ask me if I'd like to go get lunch. I politely decline but he isn't taking no for an answer. I feel someone grab me by my waist and pull me close, I look up and see Adrien glaring at the instructor till he got the message. Once he did he backed off and left, I turned and looked at Adrien.
