TWO WEEKS, IT HAD BEEN TWO WEEKS SINCE THAT HORRIFYING DAY——no one really talked about it anymore, it was stupid.

iris was begging miles to use her as bait, but he wouldn't allow it—-jack and noah were willing to do it, but not miles.

"miles come onnnnnn" iris begged as she followed him like a lost puppy,

"iris literally shut the fuck up, that's all you have been talking about for the past two weeks" miles said to her with annoyance,

"just say yes!"

"are you out of your mind?! no! i already lost lexie, god forbid something happens to you too!" he snapped at her, causing her to sigh,

"nothing will happen, if we plan this right everything will be okay, i promise" she said, but he rolled his eyes before shaking his head again.

"fine, timothee is coming home today so let's see what he says" she crossed her arms with a stubborn look on her face,

"you two on good terms?" miles asked as he leaned against the wall while crossing his arms,

she nodded,

"of course, he texted me the other night, he said he wanted to be friends still, that's fine with me" she shrugged with a sad tone of voice,

"...so i'll ask him" she changed the subject,

"you really think that stud will say yes? you're insane" miles scoffed, causing iris to groan loudly as she let her head fall back.

"my goooooddddd you two are impossible" she huffed,

"no, we are reasonable" miles said before walking past her, causing her to sigh loudly,

"milesssss pleaseeeee"

"no"

"pretty pleaseeeeeee?"

"no"

"for me?"

"no"

"i like turtles"

"no"

"yes"

"no"

"yes!"

"no!"

"YES!"

"NO!"

"FINE!" iris gave up, crossing her arms angrily while miles laughed at her.

iris heard the door downstairs open, causing a wide smile to appear on her face as her eyes lit up,

"aha" she said before running down the stairs, miles followed her.

they went downstairs and saw timothee sighing as he dropped his bags to the ground, he looked exhausted but excited to see his friends again.
