AMELIA SCRIBBLED ON HER PAPER WITH FRUSTRATION—-she was still unsure of what she wanted to switch her major to, either way she still has to complete college math no matter what her major is.

"it's not that hard, look i can break down for you" miles said as he grabbed the pen, but she let out a whine of annoyance,

she hates math because she's bad at it, she likes being good at everything she does, but she couldn't comprehend math no matter how hard she tried.

however, miles is really good at math, it's apart of his career—-so he offered to help her, but she was giving up.

"don't give up now, you almost did it right last time!" he said but she just whined,

"math is pointless" she muttered into her pillow,

"you have to do it though, i can help you look..." he said as he faced the book towards her, she sat up and looked down at it with a scowl.

"stupid" she muttered before yanking the pen out of his hand and started attempting another problem,

"also sorry for squeezing your ding dong earlier" she said as she attempted the problem, writing with immense force.

"you said sorry a million times lia" he gave her a look,

"because i'm sorry" she replied as she continued working on the math problem.

"but little tip, if you ever give a guy a handjob... DONT SQUEEZE IT!" he shouted, causing her to nod,

"dully noted" she muttered before continuing to write, she finished before holding the paper up and showing miles,

"did i do it right this time?" she asked hopefully, he looked at it, he looked it over before shaking his head,

"the answer is eight, how the hell did you get 1.38733729?" he said as he stared at it with a confused look,

she sighed deeply before grabbing her book and throwing it at the wall,

"STUPID PIECE OF SHIT!" she shouted as the book crashed into the wall while she crossed her arms with a furious look on her face,

"watch your mouth" miles weirdly scolded her, hearing her cuss just sounded wrong, he didn't like it coming out of her mouth and he knew she didn't either.

"i'm s-sorry" she said before crying, causing him to frown,

"i just... i don't like b-being bad at things, my parents... they always w-wanted me to be perfect" she said as she cried,

"you are perfect though, no matter what your parents used to say" he said as he pushed a piece of her hair behind her ear.

"no... i'm bad at math" she said as she grabbed wilbur, sitting him on her lap,

"just because you're bad at math doesn't mean you aren't perfect, like you said... math is pointless, so who cares if you're good or bad at math?" he said, she chewed on her bottom lip,

"thank you" she quietly said.

"no problem, why don't you take a break for a bit and we can start over, i can walk you through it" he said before she nodded her head,

the door opened, lexie was standing there,

"why are you crying?" she frowned as she stared at lia,

"i-i cant do math" she said through her sniffles, miles gave lexie a slightly sad look,

"i cant do math either, miles is just weird, who the hell is good at math?!" lexie laughed as she sat on the bed,

"wilbur and ellie need to date, he's lonely" lia said as she motioned the stuffed frog to lexie,
