PAIN, PHYSICAL PAIN OR EMOTIONAL PAIN CAN TEAR A PERSON APART—-also depending on what your pain tolerance was.

some people can withstand pain for a certain amount of time, and some people are just unbearable with it.

well miles... was in a lot of fucking pain.

maybe because he had a knife fully in his abdomen but, just a guess.

"he's not breathing"

"let's scope this place out to see if there's any more people here, then we will take care of the body"

footsteps walked away, slowly disappearing from earshot each time.

when the footsteps were no longer heard...

miles gasped for air, coughing loudly.

he looked around, not seeing them.

"fucking idiots" he muttered before standing up, which hurt like hell.

miles fucked up like ten times in a row and it ended up with him getting stabbed in the middle of montana.

but there was one thing he did right, play dead so they would leave him the fuck alone.

he tried to slowly get in the woods but as fast as possible, he had a knife in his abdomen and if he ran too fast the knife could move and slice up his organs.

but he also needed to go fast.

"screw it" he muttered before bolting into the woods and managing to get behind a massive tree before looking down,

blood was everywhere, it wasn't coming out as fast though.

he has a car, no phone.

make it to the car first, drive as far as possible.

he walked, and walked, and walked.

he felt like he was half alive, he was very very dizzy probably to blood loss or by the fact that he had to hold his breath for nearly a minute.

maybe both.

he stumbled by this point, he felt like he was drunk, but after a few minutes of walking he could see the edge of the woods, where it goes out to the place his car is.

he doesn't know how he did it but he made it, but now this made things worse for him, where was he going to go?

he reached his hands into his pocket to pull out the keys to his car, fumbling with them before unlocking the car with the keys.

he reached in and grabbed his bag,

then, a car pulled up, and his first instinct was to jump down behind his car because someone could be coming to kill him at this point.

but instead he ran in front of the car, stopping it.

he went around to the drivers side before banging on the window, the driver rolled it down.
