The stupid manager said Lisa will be late, so probably I shouldn't risk getting caught putting my hands in her things; however, I have a feeling that if she caught me, she would hate my guts. Finally, I find the room I'm looking for; is slightly darkened but I'm so annoyed that I'm not even tempted to look carefully around. I quickly walk over to the closed glass door; slide it open, and step into a kind of enclosed balcony at the back of the room. It's like the one where Jennie kept her clothes in the old dorm. The Ragdoll couple follows me curiously. Half of the space is occupied by boxes, hanging clothes, and suitcases; the necklace must be somewhere on the floor or threaded somewhere between all these objects. I hope don't step on it, Lisa has already lost a diamond once, the last thing I need is to break another one, and I can consider myself dead meat. How did she lose it here? While I'm carefully looking behind a Penshoppe box, I hear a noise coming from the living room.

Suddenly, Lily and Luca run out of the bedroom, and a familiar voice breaks the silence.

Lisa is here. My heart wants out of my chest, my senses are on high alert. What the fuck! I'm about to leave the room as quickly as I can when a second unmistakable baby voice mentions the other two cats.
