Project Partner Shenanigans -Ushijima Wakatoshi x Reader-

A/N:*I’m so sorry in advance if this isn’t super accurate.  I’m also sorry if this is kind of short! This takes place the winter before Hinata gets into Karasuno High. I'm only about halfway through season two right now soooo yeah…. and this is for Miki ASMR in case they couldn’t find one I hope they enjoy and I’m extremely happy that they read my fanfiction on their channel! I was jumping the entire time while listening to it and was very excited!

You walked through the doorway of your project partner and friend Ushijima Wakatoshi’s house, he was standing next to you, guiding you inside. He was the one partner that the teacher would always pair you with, and he liked you since you weren’t scared of him and you always had something interesting to talk about most of the time. You took off your shoes, hanging your coat up since it was pretty cold outside, the snow falling down heavily. 

“Brrrrr… it’s so cold outside, thanks for letting me come over to your house since mine is farther away,” you sent a smile to him, he sent a small one back, enjoying the warmth of the house as you set down the bags of supplies on his kitchen counter.

“It wasn’t a problem, my house was closer to the store, so it made more sense to maximize the amount of time we have to work on the poster so we can get it done faster,” he replied, taking off his shoes as well, putting his coat next to yours on the rack. 

“Oh! I also bought us some ingredients for dinner for later,” you mentioned putting the bag of ingredients in the fridge. He walked towards the bag of supplies, picking it up and walking upstairs with the both of your bags. You quickly closed the fridge, ran up the stairs, passing him in the process, and waiting for him to get up the stairs at the top. You opened his door, eyes scanning the familiar room.

“You don’t have to go so fast L/N,” he calmly reprimanded, walking up to stand beside you.

“It looks about the same as last time Ushi-San, you should really spice it up with something other than volleyball, don’t you have any other interests?” you completely ignoring him and heading straight for his bed flopping down on it.

“I do, I have an interest in someone,” he replied, sitting on the floor next to his table, starting to spread out the supplies in organized sections. You perked up when you heard what he had said.

“OooOooO! That’s weird, Mr. Scary-but-sweet has a crush? That is very unexpected for you, who is it?” you inquired, hanging upside down and staring at him from the bed. He nodded, he was used to your behavior, but when it came to doing the project you were very creative and focused. 

“I’d rather not say for now, I haven’t told anyone but Tendou so I’d rather this stay between the two of us,” he went over to you a smile on his face as he held his hand out to you. You rolled over, swinging your legs over the side of the bed, you took his hand and he lifted you off the bed.

“That’s completely fine! I get that, I do that as well with my crushes, they can be quite surprising for people, so I never tell anyone anymore,” you sat down on the ground, waiting for the boy to come sit next to you. He sat on the side where his bed was behind his back, taking out his laptop to start writing the script, you opening up a marker to start your poster as he did so.

After a while, you were starting to get bored, the poster not needing much else on it. Ushijima was typing up his part of the script, and editing your part so it wasn’t so much of a mouthful for the both of you. He let you have the poster all to yourself since he knew you liked to design things. He kept his eye on you while he was typing, a small smile stuck on his face.
