Y/N was the definition of a perfect girl, straight hair, straight A's, a straightforward person. She was always on time, no matter what, partly being because she had been working for the student council as a middle-school member in training, proving herself responsible for the position of student council president.
She was the head of the student council as just a first year at Karasuno high, which was a first for that school, due to her young aunt being the president from her aunt's second year of high school, now, it was her turn to become the leader. She was often the one dragging drunk people home from parties that got out of hand, being invited to third year parties often. Y/N listened to american music more than Japanese songs. If you asked her how she was doing, she wouldn't really know how to explain properly. She felt spoiled. Useless. And a failure.
Y/N walked through the hallways at her school glancing around getting to her locker and opening it, and changing her shoes, seeing someone walk shyly by her locker. Her heart skipped multiple beats seeing the familiar short blonde haired girl, her almost golden brown eyes shimmering in the morning sunshine. The girl stumbled as she speed walked to her classroom, away from Y/N's sight.
Y/N just glanced back down towards her feet, bending down and picking up her bag, the charms on them jingling as she sped off towards her clubroom, the blush on her face unwavering. Y/N felt ashamed. She shouldn't be feeling this way, it's absurd behavior for 'little miss perfect'.
When she reached her clubroom, she didn't feel like going inside, all her heart yearned for was to talk to that blonde girl, to become friends with her, have sleepovers, kiss, fall in love- No! What was she thinking? But still.... Y/N wanted her, she had talked to Yachi before, being as they were in the same class, but Yachi sat behind her, so she wasn't able to gaze at her during classes. Y/N's straight.... At least that's what she told herself everyday, masking her true feelings away from the world.

Yachi had seen the looks a certain H/C girl had given her, star-gazed for a second, before quickly turning back and distracting herself. Yachi acted like the student-council president, who was a first year herself, didn't gaze at her, but sometimes, she couldn't help but walk up to the girl. She usually would walk right past her, the tension was high, and if she stayed around any longer, Hitoka might become a hot mess of pink blush.
Hitoka spent her time reading love stories, but they were all about boys falling in love with girls, and she was confused. She liked boys, but she also liked girls, Kiyoko Shimzu being one of the girls she secretly thought was very attractive. But when F/N L/N came into her life, the student council member melted her heart into a warm puddle.
All the characters in her stories were confident, amazing, girly, and had their eyes on only one gender. Unlike Yachi, who liked girls and boys, and who also wasn't confident, open about her emotions, or out as bisexual. She couldn't use their techniques, this was something she hasn't had to deal with before, this back and forth struggle of not wanting to fall in love, and so desperately struggling with keeping herself together around Y/N. Hitoka was scared of telling anyone these emotions, in case it got back to her mother, who she didn't know how she'd react to her daughter liking not only boys, but girls as well.
At school, she liked to blend in, trying to not stand out with all these other girls, even though she was very insecure and didn't join any clubs in fear of standing out towards everyone else. A few people noticed her, the way she blushed around pretty girls, and people were starting to wonder, including her mother, who was wondering why she was being more reserved than usual, if she had a secret she didn't dare to reveal yet.
Hitoka went up and sat in her classroom, pulling out a Shonen manga, and reading it, but she was too caught up in her fast beating heart, it wouldn't stop. Doki Doki it went. She clutched her head, shoved down into her desk, this wasn't going to help her in any way shape or form. She thought, 'Maybe, I could actually ask her out and hold her hand, but what would everyone else think? Should I just be ordinary? Arghh!'
