EVERY YEAR, Euphemia and Fleamont took a day off to take James shopping for the following school year at Hogwarts. This time was obviously going to be different with Sirius and Estella. They had been living with the Potter's for two months already, and none of them had heard from any of their family members.

Estella hadn't gotten a letter from Lysandra either. She didn't know what was going on, but she still hoped for the best. She was starting to regret leaving her sister behind.

"Essie?" Sirius nudged Estella's arm gently as she shifted and groaned in her bed. Sirius was already wide awake and ready, not knowing what was prepared for today. "Wake upppp—"

"Get the- Just shhh.." Estella moved onto her left side, opposite of Sirius' sight.

"Pleaseee—" Sirius begged. "Please, please, please get up. James said we're going to Diagon Alley to buy our school books."

Estella finally woke up slowly and stretched her arms before groaning and leaning her body onto her bed with her palms on her bedsheets, "You wanted me to get up for school books?"

"I know, I know," Sirius sighed like a child. "But, I don't know. Mr. and Mrs. Potter have been so nice and I feel like I'm intruding on something. I'm-"

"Sirius, I'm nervous too." Estella confessed. "But we've known them since we were eleven. We've stayed here for weeks at times without our parents even noticing. Mrs. Potter has been treating you like you've been her son for years, which in a way, you have. So I think it's safe to say that the least of your worries right now is a trip to Diagon Alley. Now, can you please get out so I can get dressed?"

Sirius calmed down a bit until his eyes widened at the last sentence. Then, he had the same look Estella dreaded for years every time he had a mischievous look on his face; raised brows and a smirk.

He gestured to her lower body wrapped around a blanket, "You mean you're—?"

"Fully dressed in Mrs. Potters lady pajamas?" Estella answered blankly. "Yes. Yes I am."

"Wow, never thought I'd live to see another day without you in James' clothes," he answered sarcastically.

Estella narrowed her eyes, trying to read what he intended in his sentence. "Well, you'll be happy to see the outfit Mrs. Potter bought me yesterday."

"Alright," Sirius headed for her bedroom door. "Don't take too long. You girls take like- bloody forever."

"We take so long and you see we don't smell like we dipped ourselves in a pool of boys body spray," Estella sassed. "You think all my beauty takes five minutes?" She teased sarcastically.

"Literally all you have to do is get dressed," Sirius shrugged. "I mean- Just do what you always do. You'll look great."

"Looking this hot is a struggle sometimes, Sirius," She sighed dramatically. "It's not something that comes naturally."

"Believe me, Estella Mae, I know." Sirius winked. "I suffer from hot guy syndrome."

"You're are so full of yourself, Sirius."

"You've just noticed that?" A sleepy, yawning James passed by Estella's bedroom door. "Who do you think invented hot guy syndrome, Pads?"

"Johnston King," Estella laughed, teasing both of the conceited boys. "Or Ethan Montgomery."
