𝐖𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐎𝐅𝐓𝐄𝐍 𝐓𝐎 Estella's grandmother was no issue to her. They got along well, although if her mother ever found out about the communication between the two, it would surely be over for her.

Mrs. Beaumont, or Grandma Amelia, was not even near considered a family friend to her own daughters family. Yet, Estella adored her and aspired to be her one day. Amelia was married to a muggle, to which her own daughter would not even accept.

Estella was not ashamed in anyway. Marriage was not a priority to Estella, but she if she were to marry, blood status would never be an issue.

Bonjour Estella,

Estella smiled at her Grandmother's letter. Grandma Lia lives in France with her new moved in muggle husband, August Moreno. Estella had never met August, but she was hoping she'd get to chance when she visited this summer.

Grandma Lia had taught Estella how to speak french when she was younger. French was an easy language for Estella as well. Especially when Sirius would beg her to teach him how to. She'd always make him say embarrassing things that he didn't know what they meant to random people, or most of the time, Remus or James.

Estella was standing in the Gryffindor common room sitting next to the window, rereading her grandmother's letter. Her delicate handwriting was something Estella could never get over. Estella stood up, her eyes still on the letter, when she felt two arms wrap her waist from behind.

"Morning, sunshine."

Sirius.

Estella shoved his arms off from around her waist, groaning in complaint but her look quickly faded into a grin from reading her letter.

"I got a letter from Nana Lia." Estella grinned widely, making a smile appear on Sirius' face.

"In french?"

"Mhm!" Estella smiled. "She got you a letter, too." She pulled out a small birthday card to Sirius.

The card read,

Joyeux anniversaire, Sirius.
