⚜️Chapter 9⚜️

It had been 3 weeks after the accident and we were STILL not allowed out. This was getting really frustrating. No matter how much I asked Midas he would always say the same thing-"it's not safe. You never know.". Those words are getting real old really quick. I wasn't the only one wanting to get out of this place, so did every other agent in the building. They were all starting to get pretty pissed off and I was trying to convince Midas that we were all miserable but he kept saying, "you guys will be even more miserable if something ever happens to any of you guys."-which I guess is true but I highly doubt anything bad will happen.
It was already the 3rd week and I was sick of this and I needed to get out of this damn Agency so I decided to go ask Midas again for who knows how many times I've done this but I feel like I already know what the answer is. I was sitting in my bed finally getting the courage to go ask. I got up all dressed up and confident having hope that he would say everything is ok now but knowing at the same time that isn't gonna happen.
I walked to Midas office and opened the door seeing Midas doing paperwork.
"How may I help you my love?" Midas smiled looking up.
I sighed walking up to his desk.
"Can we please go out again?" I asked putting my hands on my boyfriends desk.
"Y/N we talked about this already.." Midas said quietly.
"I know I know but please Midas! It's been 3 weeks and nothings happened!!" I said.
"I know but still-maybe it's because there planning something big that can take a while? The possibilities are endless darling. You never know." Midas said.
I sighed rolling my eyes.
I felt like a child asking so much.
"I'm just trying to keep you all safe." He said putting his hands on top of mine.
I took a deep breath finally giving in.
"Fine. I understand." I smiled.
"Just be patient darling." Midas smiled as I started heading for the door.
I left the room trying not to get angry.
I knew I shouldn't be getting mad but it was hard not to.
I decided I would try to calm down by going to talk to Peely.
I just barged into his room seeing him sitting on his desk watching something with headphones.
I snuck up behind him not bothering to look at the screen to make sure he wasn't gonna turn around.
"Boo!" I shouted tapping his shoulder.
"SHIT!!" Peely exclaimed throwing his headphones off.
"What were you watching?" I smirked.
"Nothing.." Peely said closing all his tabs.
I giggled going to sit on his bed.
"Well I tried talking to Midas again." I started.
"And?" Peely asked spinning in his chair.
"Same answer as always-it's not safe." I said.
"This is bullshit." Peely sighed.
"I know right. It's been 3 weeks and nothings happened!" I exclaimed.
"And I still need to get my nails re did!!" Peely exclaimed.
I chuckled.
"He's just paranoid at this point!! He's more scared than I am!"
Peely nodded in agreement.
"We can't keep living like this for much longer." I said.
Peely kept nodding.
"Theres gotta be a way to prove him wrong." I said quietly.
"You know what, I will prove him wrong." I said.
"Oh god-you know what happened last time right?" Peely said stopping to get out of his chair.
"Of course I do. And that was just a 1 time thing, this time I'm gonna prove him wrong."
"Okaaay..whatever you said. I believe in you girly." Peely said as I got up.
"Thank you very much." I smiled walking out and closing the door.
I went back to my room and turned on the tv wishing Midas were here but-he's too busy being paranoid.
I spent the rest of the day by myself just watching tv before Midas walked in during the evening.
"Midas! I haven't seen you all day!" I exclaimed.
"Well I'm here now." Midas smiled coming over to give me a kiss.
I smiled softly seeing him go on the other side to watch tv with me.
"Wait wait wait." I said getting up.
"Hm?" Midas hummed before getting on the bed.
"I wanna do something." I said walking up to him.
I grabbed my phone from my back pocket checking the time.
It was 5:45.
we had time.
I grabbed Midas wrist and dragged him out of the room.
"Where are we going?" Midas asked as I dragged him around the halls.
"You'll see."
"I can walk on my own Y/N let me go." Midas said trying to wiggle himself off my grip.
"Follow me ok?" I said letting go off his wrist.
"I will I will.." Midas said as I walked in front of him.
I was trying to go to the front of the agency and force him to at least go on a walk around somewhere close by.
I led him all the way to the front of the agency and tried walking out.
"Hey no no no no!" Midas said turning around.
"Ah ah! Come on!" I said running and grabbing his wrist.
"Y/N I already told you."
"No I'm gonna prove something to you." I said dragging him.
He stopped right as we were about to walk out the Agency.
"Trust me." I sighed.
"Do you trust me?"
Midas sighed rolling his eyes.
"Yes." 
"Good." I smiled walking out with his wrist still in my hand.
"You can let go of my wrist now." Midas smiled as I walked down the stairs.
"No I don't trust you." I smirked.
Midas scoffed as we approached the boat.
"Get on." I said as I got on the boat.
Midas followed my order and I drove to salty springs. I parked the boat at the side of the small neighbourhood and we both got off.
"See! We drove all across the waters surrounding the Agency and we're still ok!" I said playfully.
"Yeah yeah I get it."
"Now-we are gonna take a nice stroll in Salty Springs." I smiled walking up to it.
We walked along on the side walks just enjoying the nice weather.
"See! Nothings happened!" I smiled.
"Shhh! Your disturbing the neighbours." Midas joked.
"Your scaring the neighbours."
I chuckled and suddenly I heard something-almost like a boat.
"You hear that?" Midas stopped.
"Oh calm yourself, it's probably just someone normally passing by in a boat." I said continuing to walk.
"Don't tell me to calm myself." Midas smirked.
"Oh I'll tell you to calm yourself if I want to." I smiled closing my eyes breathing in the air.
"The weather nice today isn't it?" I asked my eyes still closed.
"Midas?" I questioned opening my eyes.
I turned around seeing him touching a tree and seeing it slowly turn to gold.
"Midas!!" I said running up to him.
I grabbed his wrist dragging him out of there.
"That is an innocent persons yard." I said walking still holding on to his wrist.
Midas chuckled as I let go of his wrist.
Suddenly Midas got a call and he picked up the phone.
"MIDAS!! HELP!!" I heard Maya scream through the phone.
"Shit." I whispered.
"What?! What's wrong?!" Midas stopped.
"SHADOW!! THEY'RE  HERE!! THEY'RE ATTACKING!! Maya yelled.
"Fuck!!" Midas yelled.
"We're on our way!!" Midas exclaimed hanging up.
I giggled nervously stopping.
Midas stopped and glared at me.
"I told you."
He grabbed  my wrist and ran back to the boat.
