I stood just staring at him. It's only been three days yet I thought he would look so different. I guess he did. His pupils were dilated, his hair was a mess, but in a good way. He had some stubble on his face which just made him even more sexy. If that were even possible.

"Hey." He waved his hand in front of my face. Still in shock I closed my eyes and put my hand on my forehead.

"What are you doing here? Where have you been? Nate has been worried sick and it seems you've just been getting drunk." I felt like shouting at him because he just left so suddenly, but I couldn't, I wasn't angry. I just felt relieved he was okay. I felt happy that I got to see him again. I didn't think I would.

"Not drunk babe, and I told Nate not to worry so that's his own fault." He was still smirking as if he hadn't just up'ed and left a couple of days ago.

"Irrelevant!" I held my hand up to his face.

He rolled his eyes and I heard someone behind him ask if he was going with them.

He looked at me almost apologetically and turned to walk away.

"Wait." I called after him. He barely turned around when I threw my arms around his neck.

"When are you coming... Home?" I stumbled at the last word, but it was his home as well.

"I don't know. Everything is quite messed up. I've left my stuff there so I know in myself I will come back. I just don't know when." He whispered back as he stroked my hair out of my face.

"Don't tell Nate you saw me." He let go of me and my arms fell to my side as I saw him retreating back to a group of 20-30 year old guys all dressed in black.

"Bye." I whispered to myself, completely oblivious to everyone around me.

Until Lucas came back and spun me around.

"So I was thinking, a couple more rides and I'll take you home. You look tired." He smiled at me sweetly. Then I knew I couldn't keep this up. I don't like Lucas like I should.

"Sure." I nodded my head slightly and followed him to the line for the next ride.

I really liked Lucas, but liked is past tense. And I don't know who I was trying to convince when I told everyone I still liked him.

"Thank you, for tonight." I fumbled with my keys and looked at my hands.

"Do you wanna come in?" I whispered trying to keep the mood heavy. I didn't want him to think I was inviting him in for anything.

I was going to break it off before I led him on too far.

I walked into the house, not waiting for a reply, just leaving the door open. Lucas followed me to the couch and we sat facing each other.

I decided I was going to tell Nate about seeing Drake. If Drake wanted to stop me he should have stayed. I thought even though I felt bitchy about not doing what he asked.

I looked back to Lucas, with his lopsided grin and friendly eyes.

Guess I better get this over with. I sighed deeply.

"So we need to talk."
