I couldn't even sleep, I couldn't stop thinking of him, he was the only thing that could go through my mind, and he was brave enough to at least try to kiss me, even after being so mean with him.
When it was about 7 or 8 o'clock, I stood up from my bed and walked towards the door and opened it, just to find Tao about to call at my door. I hugged him immediately, and said something I would only say to him.
"I love you too." I whispered to him, as happy as I could.
He whispered a "thanks for accepting me" into my ear, and then we kissed, but this wasn't a nervous and awkward kiss, it was a love full one.
When we broke apart, Chen was standing right beside us, scaring the hell out of us.
"I see you two love each other..." He said whit his accusatory tone.
I blushed and Tao turned around to face him, annoyance was evident in his eyes.
"Don't you even dare to tease us, at least once, and I will freeze you in time. Got it?" He said.
Chen didn't even alter at his sudden reaction, and said "I know you can't, like how I can't make lightning to fall all over the world, we aren't strong enough yet-"
"Remember my problems when I use my powers? That is one, got it? Freeze somebody in the time, no move, not a single heart beat of that guy, remember? Yes, I did that, by mistake I did it, but I did. So stop teasing and don't let the others know it." Tao said.
"That won't be necessary." Chen said, and then pointed at a camera that was facing this way. I blushed even more, and waited for Ari [NEW WAY TO CALL ARIADNE!] to appear at the corner of the hallway.
When she arrived, she said "I knew that there were actually lovebirds here, but I didn't expect it to be you two." She said looking at Tao and me. The comment annoyed me a bit, and the annoyance grew when I saw Chen smiling widely.
"And Chen, I didn't expect you to be teasing in your first day here. I'm very disappointed." She said, and his smile faded away.
"But don't worry, just don't tease this lovebirds, and you two," she said pointing at us "don't get all lovey dovey around the group."
We all nodded and I dragged Tao into my room.
As soon as I closed the door, I turned around to face him.
"Why didn't you tell me about it before?" I asked to a confused Tao.
"Because I was afraid you would laugh if I did." He replied.
"It's OK, I was also afraid of asking you, and I wanted you to ask me, not me to ask you." I said gently. This made him smile shyly, and I smiled back.
"Are you hungry?" He asked me, and my stomach growled.
"I haven't eaten since last lunch time, so why not?" I said.
He smiled and pulled me towards the kitchen, which was absolutely empty, besides the usual in a kitchen, and a breakfast area [Is this also part of the usual in a kitchen?].
He walked over to the stove and said "I suck cooking, but I'll try to cook you something."
I laughed and said "only some pancakes, or some eggs with bacon or jam, please?" I asked.
He smiled and nodded, and took some eggs, bacon and jam. Then he turned on one burner and put a pan on the fire.
When he was done making the eggs, he put them in a plate and served me a glass of orange juice and then put everything in front of me.
I thanked him, and invited him to eat with me, because it was quite too much for me.
He sat beside me, and took some tortillas that were already heated up and gave me one, then he took a fork and we both started eating.
When I took a bite, I loved the food, it was delicious! And I didn't hide it.
"Gosh! It's so delicious!" I said.
"You liked it?" He asked.
"Yes, I loved it." I said before shoving a bit more of this delicious, and now favorite food into my mouth-yes, it was more delicious than Doritos. He smiled and continued to eat.
Once we were done we both decided to go to the TV room and watch random programs. for a while.
after about 5 minutes changing channels, Tao passed the news channel, and I asked him to return to it.
I found it interesting. It was about massive wildfires that had no natural origin nor an induced cause. It had no sense. How could there be no origins for a wildfire, even under the modern world we are living nowadays?!
Then, the FBI and Ari appeared right there. I know what it means.
"We got a new one..." Tao muttered.
"No shit Sherlock!" I laughed. He laughed as well and we both went to prepare ourselves.
When we were ready, it was already time and they were already there.
We walked downstairs and saw the others finally deciding to move and get ready, even Silent was preparing herself, even do she didn't even show up in all day!
I let out a sigh and took a sit besides Tawis [:3] to wait for the moment of the arrival.

About an hour later, we were all ready and waiting at the door for the new one to arrive.
There was a knock and we went to our spot. When the door opened, a guy of about 5' 10'' came in. He was wearing a grey jacket, some jeans and black tennis shoes. He was gray and black haired, with ears and tail of the same color, and part of his hair covering his right eye, and his left eye was emerald green. I noticed something out of the blue on him, just like with Silent, but couldn't tell what it was.
He stared at us expressionless, darting his eye around us, and at the end, when he noticed Silent, he stood there in shock, and ran at her after that, saying "Silent! I missed you!" He said and hugged her.
"Is-Is Tina OK? Where is she?" She sobbed into his jacket. He rubbed her back in an attempt to calm her down, which seemed to work. That's where I noticed it: They had compromise rings, made of ice, on the finger of each one.
"Who is Tina?" Chen asked.
