I once had a truly wonderful dream,
Back when my green eyes would glimmer and gleam.
I would dream to discover, to explore...
Never did I ever want to do anything more.
That was until I saw you and oh, if you only knew.
The feeling I felt and I thought I had outgrew,
but every dream I dreamt was different because of you.
Your beautiful gaze haunting, clouding my every view.
My dreams now nightmares,
Because they all meant me leaving you.
My exploration stalled,
My wanting to discover the world dissolved.
I was completely enraptured with the thoughts of loving you,
Now I can only hope, you will love me, too.
A/n: I don't know how I feel about this one, but I'm at writer's block and haven't posted in awhile so, yeah.
