A love like ours was such a minority.
Strong, we knew it would last all of eternity.
Even the universe was in awe of our beautiful skew;
and oh, what an envious fit it threw.
The rain tried to drown us in sorrow,
but my life could never be gray
as long I get to see you tomorrow.
Hurricanes of destruction tried to form disarray,
but all aftermath is nothing, as long as at the end of the day
I look out the window to see you're pulling into our driveway.
No matter how tough it seems to get,
even the universe can't make us quit,
because,
I'll fight for you,
with a love so true.
And you fight for me,
with a love so true.
and together
we could last,
all of eternity.
