Third Person's POV

That day when the two of them went home, Russell felt a bit confuse.

He was in a daze when he saw Cailey in the restaurant. He felt a need to take her away from the crowd when she was walking towards them. She looked stunning, he thought, and that only added to his already confused mind. And when she spoke, he got mad. He thought Cailey was always submissive, and he never thought that she will act like this, now that three years had already passed.

He still had his reputation to protect, and he thought Cailey might have also thought about it. So before she could make a scene he decided to prevent it before it happens, and so he went to Cailey.

He dragged her out of the restaurant and pushed her to the car and went straight home. He was still mad, but not on the fact that his supposed to be proposal night was ruined, but the other reason, which he barely know.

When they finally reached the house, Cailey got out immediately and went straight inside. He followed her and knew she was in his study room. He then went inside, and then

''HOW THE FUCK WILL YOU COMPENSATE ALL THE THINGS YOU'VE DONE?''

He asked, yelling. He was more used to see his wife, being scared to him, like he was a monster, that sometimes made him clench. Did she think of me as a monster? He thought. But he didn't get a response, He saw her eyes landed on the small box beside him, which he carried with him the whole time, and saw the sadness in Cailey's eyes. He silently groaned, why was he even affected? until a minute later she speak '' I see, you want me to compensate you? or your mistress?''

He didn't know what to feel, he somehow felt anxious, confused, and mix. He looked at her, then finally took the idea on making her sign the divorce paper. He knew she would likely beg and kneel on him. Begging for him not to divorce her, like she always did. And he hated that, but still, he wanted make her realize what she had done. So he had to do this,

''Sign this and leave'' he said and looked at her grinning.'' Can you do that?'' but he wasn't expecting a different response. He was taken aback but tried not to show it.

His mind was on a brink of confuse and anger. He saw how Cailey took the envelope and eventually read the context on it. He was taken aback again, surprised as to what he was seeing. She read those as if it was really important! What the fuck?! It was not the usual reaction he had get, she would usually act like she almost wanted to cry and starts to beg. But now, she did something different which made him faltered.

''You don't have to give me money and my family as well. Don't worry we'll make it out of our own from now on. I'll sign this''

He froze. He didn't think she would really sign the paper. He was only threatening her, but she actually did signed the paper. He saw how her eyes went cold, and it made him weak, as if he just done something very terrible.

When Cailey left, he stood there, staring at nowhere. He felt empty, he felt numb.

''She did...s-she really did...r-right?'' he asked himself, trying to know if that was real, slightly laughing then went serious.

Fuck, he cursed.

Thinking he was getting crazy. He should be happy right? But why the hell is this making him regretful and felt he wanted to mourn! He then went out of his study room to get some water, but when past through her room, he wanted to see her, to see what she was doing, but a back of his mind said he shouldn't. Arguing with his mind, he still walked through the door and opened it slightly, only to find no one there. He again went to silence.

God, she left!

He's now starting to go crazy. All was in his mind was the reality, the reality that Cailey had left him. His wife left him!! He slammed the door shut and went to his room only to ruin all the things he'll see.

Goddamn! She left me! How dare she!

He cursed and yelled that night until he left out of strength.

***

Days had passed, and he's messed.

Rylee kept on calling him but he he didn't even bat an eye to answer her. He was so confuse! And he needed to clear things out so he wasn't in the mood to entertain and flirt with Rylee. He was still thinking on Cailey, who had long gave up on him. And the thought of it made his strength went numb.

When he went home from the company, he realized that his feet were dragging him into Cailey's room. He never get to see Cailey's room clearly, he thought. He opened the door and called Cailey, but no one answered. He then laughed, a sad one, he realized again that Cailey, her wife was not there anymore.

He went inside and sat on her bed. The room were still filled with Cailey's scent which made him calm for a bit. He looked at her closet, her drawers, he laid on her bed. He puts his hand over his forehead and started to feel lonely and empty. He hated this feeling, but somehow he can't take it away.

No Cailey, No more Cailey who would run through the door to see him, to look for him. No more cheerful smile in every morning, no more worried and sad Cailey. He was so fucked up!

He still remembered that night when he saw the ring on her side table, how it struck his heart, and felt like something was pierced on it. He smelt the pillow, and it was her scent! Which only made him regretful even more.

He stood up and went out. He went to a club to drink his mind out. He drank himself out. He called some men and went straight to Mindy's apartment. He knew where it was, of course, he's Russell, nothing in this world he wouldn't know. He walked straight to their apartment, and knocked.

He heard a voice. And his heart rejoiced! Upon hearing it made him want even more, he hates to admit but he's missing her voice, her presence, and her!

When the door opened, he saw Cailey. Seeing her now made him want to rush on her, kiss her until she ran out of breath and take her! But he knew Cailey wouldn't let him so he said he wanted to talk. But he only got angry at the repeated refusal. So he decided to let go for it for the mean time. But he was still checking.

He busied himself at work, Rylee would still went to his office but he barely realize that she was there. His mind was preoccupied. And Rylee seems to notice it so she didn't utter words and just left.

He was exhausted from work and with all the thoughts when he arrived home early. He let the driver to park the car at the entrance of the house and he went inside only to be greeted with Sally, in her happy face. Since Cailey left, some of his maids were sad, so seeing how Sally's face was happy now, he stopped and asked. Sally then told him that Mrs. Gabinson was in her room, she was here to pick her things.

He felt sad but an excite and happy feelings aroused from him even more, though he didn't want to admit it. He still doesn't want to admit that he's finally slowly falling for Cailey. And seeing her face will make all his exhaustion go away.

He walked fast upstairs and was nervous at the same time. He wasn't sure how he managed not to drag Cailey from that apartment back to this house, but he actually did managed, and now that she's here, without him dragging her back, he felt the urge to lock her up and never let her leave.

But he knew it would only make her hate him more, so he decided he would asked her slowly, but he knew he was short tempered, and instead of asking her nicely, he yelled.

When he saw her back facing him again, it made his heart sank. He doesn't like that feeling anymore. He was facing that back again, for the second time! And he wasn't sure if he could still get a grip on his already fucked up mind and confused heart.

NO! No!

I need her to comeback to me! if I have to do it roughly, I will! Just to take her back! Damn it!

He said to himself
