Chapter Ten: Allergies

Third Person's POV

When Cailey was heading to her apartment, she can't help but to smile.

She finally can leave the house, she felt a relief. 

When she arrived there, she was greeted by a land lady. She was then accompanied to where the vacant apartment was and she was happy. Though the apartment was not exquisite, it was still good. She smiled to the land lady, and said she will take it, the land lady gave her the apartment's key and bid her good bye.

She went inside and examined the space and thought she can put a small effort to make it more pleasing and homely. After this, she need to get used on living by herself. She need to do things on her own. She was so determined.

It was her day off so she has the time. When she went back to Russell's home, she went straight to her room and packed her stuff again. She still remembered when she took her stuff out of Mindy's apartment, Mindy was sad. She was in her apartment for already a year, so leaving it made her sad. She said that she had so much memories there together with me. But then she smiled, and decided to shake it all off. After that incident, as Cailey remembered, Mindy was prohibited by her parents to go back, thinking that it is not safe anymore knowing that thieves already entered her apartment, so she didn't argue anymore and just nodded.

So, she decided to take the condo that her parent's gave her. She was inviting Cailey to live with her but Cailey refused, Mindy has her own life too. And sticking with her will only interfere on her personal life, especially her love life. Mindy has her long time boyfriend, Carlos. Though they always quarrel, always on and off, I know Mindy loves Carlos. Also, they have been together for a long time, they have been together since college actually. You could say that they were college sweet hearts, since Mindy was a freshmen and Carlos was two years ahead of Cailey and Mindy.

She's been the witness of Mindy and Carlos's unusual relationship so, she knows them best. Carlos knew that Cailey  lived with Mindy before, he even said that it was okay, he's even glad that Mindy has someone in her apartment, it's dangerous for her to live on her own. 

Though Mindy might act like tough and ready to fight, Cailey know for a fact that she's fragile. If you're asking where Carlos is, he was out of the country. He was brought by her parents there to manage their small business. He was there for almost six months, and he said that he'll be back after one year. So Mindy let her, thinking that Carlos needed it. 

Cailey actually envied them, they weren't perfect but they love each other, something that she and Russell don't have. 

Meanwhile, 

Russell stared intently at the information in front of him. This is the report that his investigator gave him regarding what happened in the apartment where Cailey and her friend was staying. He already read the report, his sharp like eyes visible, his thoughts were rambling. 

Yes, he sent some investigator regarding with the case, and some men to look after or watch over his wife. He of course needed to know her whereabouts, so for him, it is the best method without her knowing. 

He leaned in his swivel chair.

He thought carefully about what next step would be. He can't just confront the real culprit and spit on its grave that early. Its good that he's already aware, and careful with his next plan. He was just starting, and he has still a lot. While thinking, his phone rings, it was a call from the house so he picked it up.

''Mr. Russell, as you have ordered, I observed Ms. Cailey's every move, and I think she was planning to leave the house again. Some of the maid's saw her packing her stuffs''
