"He's waking up."

Pain shoot through my head, hand going up slowly to lay on top of it. I'm scared to open my eyes, afraid my head will hurt only more. But now knowing where I am right now and who's around, makes me more anxious.

So I blink my eyes, opening them slowly to see a familiar face. "S-Sojung?" I ask softly. Another face, Yuna's. "Tae! Are you okay? Oh my god, I missed you so much! What happened?" Sojung rattles worry laced in her eyes. "Sojung give him space to breathe", Yuna giggles and pushes her a bit away.

"Hello, Taehyung. Remember me?" the girl smiles and I nod, smiling too. "Of course I remember you, Yuna. How have you been?" I ask and she giggles. "Let's talk about me after you're okay again", Yuna says and I smile shyly.

"Taehyung", a new voice says. A stranger walks towards me. "I'm Dr. Xu, but you can call me Minghao." I greet him with a small smile. "Is he sick? Will he be better?" Sojung rambles again, having Yuna holding her down.

"Don't worry, your friend is not sick", Minghao says and turns towards me again. "Have you been in stressful situations? Maybe experienced depressing events?" I scoff softly, everything that happened lately playing through my mind. I nod and Minghao smiles a little, showing empathy but also a relief. "You need to rest and try to relax a bit. The stress is too much for your body to handle", the doctor says and I frown a bit.

How am I going to rest and relax while my psycho mate with major mood swings is still somewhere there and feelings are everywhere and nowhere, trying to figure out what the hell is going on? I'm not even sure what I'm thinking or feeling, it is all one big blur.

"Girls, I think the best medicine is a nice company to talk and laugh with and rest. I'm sure you're able to help him with that?" Minghao says and the girls nod immediately. They gather around the bed I'm in and smile widely yet worriedly.

"So you ran from Bogum?" Yuna asks and I nod. "Wow... I've known him since I was a little girl. I can't believe he does something like this", Yuna sighs and rubs her forehead. "What an asshole", he growls afterward. "It's okay, Yu. He let me go for some reason", I say. "But that's the weirdest part", Sojung says and we look at her.

"I don't know this Bogum douche... but if he was really a nice guy, comes back being an asshole and sometimes nice and then again lets you go I'm sure something is going on with him", Sojung says. "I guess", Yuna says, deep in thoughts.

"Why are you here by the way", I ask, frowning confused towards Sojung. "I visited my friend and actually were gonna bring her with me back to my pack again", she answered. My mind immediately goes back to when I was there too and the thought of Jeongguk saddens me. I really do miss him.

"We all miss you, Tae", Sojung smiles sadly. "W-What about Jeongguk?" I ask softly and look away. "He doesn't show it, but I know he misses you", Sojung smiles and I look at her again with a frown. "How?" The girl giggles, "he's restless and he even went to your pack."

"He did?!" I exclaim shocked. My heart starts beating a bit faster by knowing he came, a happy feeling flowing through my body for the first time in a while. "What about you? Did you miss him?" Sojung asks, a hint of amusement in both the girls' eyes. I could have expected his question yet I didn't, it took me off guard, made me blush heavy, and nod softly. Both of them smile widely.

The day went by quickly, I've laughed a lot with my friends and am sad that they have to go already. "I'll see you soon, Tae! We now have to go sadly. With the whole shapeshifters situation we need all guards to be ready for action", Sojung sighs and hugs me. "Stay safe, Tae", Yuna smiles and hugs me too. I smile and nod, "I will. Can you please give Jimin a hug from me?" I ask and she nods. "Of course", she says and ruffles my hair.
