Three days went by. Taehyung ate little and slept a lot, worrying his parents and best friend. Taehyung's mother felt guilty, sad by the thought of hurting her precious son. She knew she made a mistake, but she never intended to hurt Taehyung with her decision.

And for Jeongguk, he became stressed, his wolf became restless. They had the feeling something important was gone and Jeongguk not being the smartest out there, thought it must be something else than Taehyung. But that wasn't true, Taehyung is exactly what they were missing.

After Jeongguk got rejected by his mate he never felt that yearn again, the need to pull someone close and trap in your arms, to nuzzle your nose in their neck, and just enjoy their warmth. No, he wanted distance, he wanted people to stay away from him because he thought that's what he deserved for being too sweet and gentle with someone. And now he was a harsh asshole to Taehyung, sometimes not able to resist the soft interaction between them and he enjoyed seeing the Omega blush and look away shyly.

"Where are you going?" Taehyung looks up and sees his mother look at him worried. "I'm going for a walk", he answered and walked out of the door.

He looked to his left, the forest, then to his right, the village. He chooses to walk around the village this time, feeling the need to be surrounded by other people, just to feel less lonely. Cause that's what Taehyung feels, lonely and empty. He misses Jeongguk, even though he has little great moments with him, he has feelings for the Alpha. He wished he wasn't here, the place he used to call 'home'.

He wants to go back to Jeongguk's pack, hang out with Sojung and Yewon and become all res when Jeongguk is being sweet to him or comes closer. He wants to hear Yoongi grumble when Namjoon gives them a lecture, see Namjoon and Seokjin being flirty together - of course secretly.

He smiles a little when he thinks back to his stay at the Bangtan pack. It wasn't as bad as he had imagined. No, it was amazing in its own ways.

Without realizing, Taehyung already arrived at the other side of the village, walking through an ally with just some market stalls. He was so deep in his thoughts, he didn't look out to where he was walking, resulting him to bump into someone and fall on the ground.

"Ow, I'm sorry", Taehyung gasps and looks up only to feel his heart stop beating and eyes to widen. "No need to say sorry, love", he says and leans down, reaching out his hand for Taehyung to grab, which he slowly does.

"B-Bogum?" Taehyung let out softly, sniffing softly to see if it's really him and it is. This is his mate... "H-How?"

Bogum smiles and pulls the Omega in a hug. "I've been looking for you, Tae. I survived the accident", Bogum sighs softly.

Then Taehyung remembers the shapeshifters and gasps as he pushes the beta of him. "My mother's name?" Taehyung asks with fear in his eyes, confusing Bogum. "Wh-" "Answer", Taehyung says. Bogum does, receiving some questions only he could know. And when he answers them all correct, Taehyung can finally let his tears of relief go and flies into his arms again.

"It's really you? I missed you so much", Taehyung cries out, burying his face deep in his chest. "I'm here now, lovely. Look at me", Bogum says and Taehyung does so, looking up into the man's eyes, two beautiful eyes glowing a soft orange.
