I knew for sure that today's fight was going to be hard. Not only did we have to kill a powerful mighty woman, but this woman is also my true mate. We never rejected each other and that will probably be an obstacle in this fight.

But now that we're in our position, I felt nothing but rage and the yarn for relief. "They look so normal", Yoongi says, looking down on the shapeshifters surrounding the cave where Yuju is hiding. "Of course, they're shapeshifters", Hoseok comments sarcastically. Yoongi glares at him, making the vampire chuckle as he comes closer. "Look. They lack defense at west", Hoseok says. "I knew that", Yooni growls annoyed, rolling his eyes as he does so.

"Let's go that way then", I say, turning to my soldiers and signing them were to go. We go off the hill we were located at first. We kill any shapeshifter coming in our way until we're at the little camp in front of the cave. There the real battle starts before we meet our end boss.

It felt good. Murdering, slaughtering, and letting out all your anger and frustration at those evil creatures. Making your nails grow and ripping their throats apart, grabbing your sword and swinging it around, piercing hearts and heads.

It was a great feeling, but I knew that what will come next would feel even better. So when I saw a way, I took it and ran into the cave, killing all shapeshifters that crossed my path.

I end up at a big broad door, as high as the ceilings of this cave and that was pretty high. I open it, using much force to succeed. And end in a huge room, black and gold colors and fancy torches lighting up the room. In the end, there are little yet broad stairs going a bit more up to a big black throne of sharp rocks.

I walk in, no one is around. Did she leave? I wanted to give up already when I heard a chuckle, from a woman.

I turn around and see her. "Jeon Jeongguk, my long lost mate", she smiles and walks by me, towards the throne. "Lost? You left", I say. "Did I? Oh, why though?" she asks, knowing very well why. I grit my teeth, not going to let her get to me. I walk towards the throne, where now my mate is seated.

"I thought you'd come back for me one time. But not with that", she says, using the tip of her toes to tap my sword I'm still holding. "Why didn't you come back sooner? When you decided to finally grow up and be what you're supposed to be?" Yuju snickers, dark sharp eyes looking in mine as her head tilted a bit to the side.

"What do you want, Alpha? Right now, what do you desire?"

"Supposed to be, huh?" I scoff, remembering Taehyung's words. "Yes of course. What did you think?" Yuju chuckles.

"Why do you send all these shapeshifters? Why to us and why to the vampires? What do you want?" I ask her, changing the subject as I felt my anger boil up again.

She smirks. "I knew my smart mate would connect the dots already, Jung Yerin and the rose", she smirks. "Yes, but why?" I ask, getting impatient now.

"Why do you think, King Jeon? Yerin is the one", Yuju smirks. I frown. "You mean- the one who can hold the rose?" I ask and Yuju nods. "Yes, finally you get it", she snickers. "She's not the she-wolf. She's not a wolf in the first place", I say and Yuju rolls her eyes.

"Guess you don't need to be a she-wolf to be able to take these powers", Yuju says. "With help of my powers I'll be able to take control of Yerin's mind and body, and that way I will be the one controlling these powers the rose hold", Yuju explains. "The rose is the only thing keeping me alive, I need its powers to be full and free."

"You're mad", I say. "Oh this is only the beginning", Yuju smirks, making me grip onto my sword a bit more. "Go ahead, try to kill me", Yuju smiles spreading her arms in surrender. "I won't die", she chuckles. I didn't hesitate, lifting my sword and piercing it through her heart, on an organ I doubt she has.

I watched as the sword melts and slowly disappears. I feel a hand on my cheek. "I didn't expect you to actually do it... but I'm proud of you", she says, leaning forward and pressing a kiss on my lips before she disappears into nothing.

And all I could think was; what the fuck just happened.

KIM TAEHYUNG

"Are you sure you want to leave?", Seungcheol asks. I nod, smiling with a shy blush. "I'm really grateful for your help, for letting me stay here and letting a doctor take care of me", I say making the Alpha and his Luna Jeonghan smile back at me. "Of course, Taehyung. You can always come here", the Luna says, ruffling my hair. It seems that a lot of people like to ruffle my hair.

"We're going to work now, you should get your stuff", Seungcheol says and I nod. I go to my room, grabbing the bit of clothes I wore yesterday when I came here and a bag to bit it in. Only 7 more minutes before it's 8. I couldn't stop smiling, ready to see Jeongguk again.

But.. when it was 8 PM and I was standing in front of the packhouse, Jeongguk didn't come. A car stopped in front of me and the window opened showing one of Jeongguk's guards Kim Junmyeon, the one I could call Suho.

"Suho? Hey", I smile, trying to hide my disappointment. I wished to see Jeongguk. "Hey, Taehyung. I'm your ride back to the pack you belong", he says with a wink and I smile as I get in, sitting next to him.

"Alpha Jeon mind linked me to get you. He's still in battle", Junmyeon says. My eyes widen and I look at him. "Battle!?" I yell out shocked. Junmyeon's eyes widen too as he glances at me sometimes. "Ahm... he didn't tell you?" he asks with a nervous chuckle. I shake my head, worry taken over me.

"Don't worry too much, Taehyung. He is strong and powerful. Some shapeshifters won't do anything against him", Junmyeon says and I gulp, trying to it go.

I first wanted to sleep the whole ride, knowing it takes some hours. But I couldn't. So we spent the ride talking with each other and looking outside into the beautiful world.

And when we arrived I was met with a delicious scent.
